Her desperate cries echoed through the room before she let out another screech. Completely lost in her own grief, the sounds of her screams shrouding any other noise, she didn’t notice the windows and mirror slowly starting to crack around her before shattering in an explosion of glass shards, nor did she feel them impaling her. Her cries too drowned out the rushed footsteps of Penny and Aggie as they tore through the house.

Kira gasped and held her hands tightly on her ears before Mira screamed at her, giving Emma enough time to leave the tree and run, just as she had told her to. After that, Mira dashes to the other side of the forest. Passing through another horde of fiends, attracting a great number of them as she ran. The path got narrower and narrower until she got to a cliff top. It was steep, with a stream below it. Agonized by anguish, she screams her heart out, having had several tragedies that iron clawed her heart this was just too much for her to bear. Stunned by the screaming, the fiends also fell in reaction to it.

Seeing Taken souls were Lillith’s thing. I sighed to myself, wishing there was some point to this place. I walked a mute world filled with reflections of the living and whole, a world that was as pretty as it was useless. Lills on the other hand... She saw the dead and the taken, and they weren't reflections of people like they were for me, they were real, solid, she could hear their every word and scream.

Gerald walked in. “Harry?” He called me with a slight nod and a suspicious look. “Babe?” He looked at Mira who looked like she was being maltreated. There was a lot going on and for the first time, I was glad I found out the truth. She wasn’t anything like the innocent and simple woman I fell for.

Arc I – The Possession Begins Chapter 2: The Lady in the Mirror For a full five seconds, Mira did not move. The reflection did. It smiled—her smile, but sharper. Everyone would see it was her who killed him. Mira pushed his arm away and bolted out of the bedroom. She was running to one part of the cabin where she could control the monster. This shouldn’t happen. Mira only had seconds before she lost it. The silver already wore off from her body and there would be a mess to clean. “Mira,” she heard Cohen shouted while he was chasing after her.

KIRA The Hollow camp had been quieter since the raid, but not peaceful. Quiet in the Hollow never meant calm. It was the silence before the next hunt. Days had passed, yet the smell of smoke still clung to the air. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw the orange glow of that farm burning, heard the screams caught in the wind. I had scrubbed my hands raw trying to wash away the scent, but it never left. It had sunk too deep. Mira, though, seemed different. Her eyes shone with a strange pride when Serana praised her before the others. Warriors clapped her on the back, calling her -The flame of the Hollow. She smiled when they did.

“Mira, what—” “Shh.” Mira’s eyes locked on the window, her grip tight on the blade. “It’s one of them.” Alice stood, her legs shaky but her instincts screaming. She followed Mira to the door, ignoring her warning. Outside, the yard was dark, the trees swaying in the wind. Then she saw it—a flash of movement, a shadow too big to be human. A low growl rumbled through the air. Mira stepped onto the porch, dagger raised. “Show yourself!” she called, her voice steady but sharp.

I fell asleep too. I opened my eyes slowly and turned my head hoping to see Ivory but Millie was laying beside me. She licked my face and I sat up straight immediately. "Morning.." I turned to see Ivory just got out of the shower and I smiled looking at her. "What's with that face?" She looked at me confuse but I decided to turn to Millie. "Hello Millie." I hugged her and pulled the blanket up again. "I have work, Leon." She said and I pretended to sleep again.
