Sarah’s POV I couldn't believe my ears. I thought I had misheard. But clearly, I hadn't. Jeremy’s reaction mirrored my own. His voice trembled, the knife slipping from his fingers and clattering to the dirt floor. “No! No, I can't do that. I can't!” He stumbled backward, his entire body shaking. Likewise, my heart pounded in my chest at the scene. A single tear slid down my cheek. Elijah had been testing Jeremy, but the latter had failed.

He gently runs his fingers through my wet hair before his hand stops under my chin and lifts my face up to see him. “What has you so sad beautiful?” I open my tear-filled eyes, “Abran came while you were gone, it was finally my turn to walk away. This time for good” I could see the pure shock in his face, I could also see the relief and the happiness but he was doing his best to stifle it down. “And your tears?” “Grief for the life I thought I would have and relief from the never-ending cycle of heart break” He smiles as he leans down and presses his kisses softly against mine. “I spoke to Carlow, he has decided on his terms”

Tears are falling off my eyes, and I start to whimper. "N... Are you crying? Why are you crying? I hope you're not crying for David because he doesn't deserve anyone's tears or sympathy." She tells me. "I'm not crying for him. I'm crying because life is so hard. Being black and a vampire has not been an easy journey for me. It still hurts that my parents lost their lives because of racism. Why must we have to suffer the most? This life is so cruel and unfair!" I wailed, venting out my frustration.

"What the hell do you want from me?" One tear landed on his arm, seeming to jolt him like a scalding burn. He snapped out of his haze, fumbling clumsily to wipe away my tears. "I'm sorry. I said the wrong thing. I'm a total jerk. Don't cry." In that raw moment, all the hurt I'd bottled up for so long came rushing out like a dam breaking. I sank to the floor, burying my face in my arms, my body wracked with uncontrollable sobs.

Now he knew all their weak points and after this last piece of information, he was going to strike. Another hot tears escaped my eyes and I started to sob all over again, it racked through my body and it hurt the back of my eyes. With every painful cry, my stomach hurt but I couldn't stop myself. I deserved this, I was going to cause so much pain to everyone here. To Jeremy who's been the most charming teenage boy I've ever get in touch with and who took the biggest space in my heart, and then to Jane who's been like a kid sister to me and the one I usually gossiped with about the hot guys in the pack.

She winced and closed her eyes tightly. Taj let go of her hair. She was already kneeling on the ground, but as soon as he let her hair go, she was about to fall on her face, but Jeremy held her. He grabbed her cheeks and squeezed them. Tears fell from her eyes as the pain shoot through her face, neck, and head. Jeremy knew he was hurting her, and yet he didn’t loosen his grip around her face, “Tsk, weren’t you into Levi?” Jeremy chuckled, “When the fuck did you get involved with my brother?” He bitterly asked.

Why was I giving him pep talk? "Ryker, I know you have a heart, and that heart of yours was given to you so you could love and feel something. I hope it won't be too late when you realize that. Goodbye, Ryker." The water works had started. I allowed the tears to flow freely down my face as I ran back to Jasmine. She was about to ask me something when she noticed the tears on my face. "Shea, what happened to you?" She asked as she stood from her seat.

"Tristan, can you give me another chance? I made a mistake. I really did! "I really don't want to lose you because of that jerk. If you give me another chance, I promise I'll make it up to you in the future." I sighed and looked at her. "There are some things that can never return to the way they were. If a simple apology could solve the problem, there wouldn't be so many tragedies in the world." I closed the door without hesitation. No matter how much Callista banged on it, I did not open it again. After half an hour, the sound of Callista's voice outside finally died down, and I received a message from her, saying, "I'll make it up to you for what happened with Jeffrey!"

she screams at me, moving so fast I could barely catch the outline of her body disappearing further into the darkness. " Sarah my love, please come back," I plead with her. To scared to chase after her afraid that if I followed her I would only push her further into the darkness and would lose her completely to the shadows. Bending over on my knees I brought my head down to the black surface, cringing at the pain inside of my chest as my heart shattered into pieces. A lone tear escaped my right eye gliding down my cheek. It has been hundreds of years sense I've let myself feel any kind of pain let alone shed a tear for another soul. I wish so much that I could go back to that day and change

She pleaded at the verge of tears. She knows I don't like it when she cries and now she is blackmailing me with her tears. "Fine,I will come with you."I said andjumped up triumphantly just like Hailey. This would help me forget about them.I thought. * * JEREMY'S POV I had wishedwe could settle everything today,but that is close to impossible. She looks really broken beyond repair and it hurts toknow that I'm the reason behind it,this wouldn't have happened if I had not traveled,I would have remained at home backthen I thought sighing heavily.
