Adrian cursed under his breath. Then someone started pounding violently against my door. “Open it NOW!” Not Vale security. Yang soldiers. Adrian’s expression darkened instantly. “They found you.” Fear crawled down my spine. “Julian?” Adrian moved immediately, pulling a gun from behind his back.

“Pasensya na, Don Vandolf pero kailangan niyo munang manatili rito sa loob.” “Ha? Bakit? May business meeting pa ako in a few minutes,” kunot-nooong wika ni Don Vandolf. “There’s an intruder in this house. Don’t worry, I am going to protect you and your daughter-in-law at all costs,” Razon said, calmly. “Papa!” Napalingon sina Don Vandolf at Razon sa direksyon ni Freya. Kalalabas lamang nito mula sa kabilang silid.

Damien's voice suddenly interrupted. "Cinthye." She touched the earpiece. "I'm listening." "We've got movement." Nicholas added, "Twenty armed men approaching the garden." Aiva cursed softly. Gulat na tanong ni grandpa sa kanya.

Ang mga bodyguard agad na alerto. May paparating. May intruder.

Kaagad niya akong pinasunod kaya napatakbo ako papasok. “Shhh tago.” Mabilis niya akong hinila papasok sa isang pinto nang marinig namin ang mga tunog na palapit sa amin. “Emergency! Intruders attacked! Lock up the main door,” rinig kong anunsiyo mula sa labas. “We need to get out of here,” mahinang sabi ni Black habang nakaabang kami sa pinto. Inilabas niya ang isang baril saka pinihit ang doorknob.

Maging sina Adrian at Tito Seb ay biglang natigilan at nagpalinga-linga sa paligid. “An intruder has entered the area, Young Miss. We need to secure your safety,” imporma ng isa sa mga tauhan namin. Akmang hahawakan nila ako sa braso pero mabilis akong lumabas at lumapit kina Adrian. “How about them?” naniniguro kong tanong sa mga tauhan namin habang nakaturo sa mag-ama. “Ang ilan po sa mga kasamahan na namin ang bahala sa kanila. Sa ngayon ay kailangan po namin masiguro ang kaligtasan n’yo.”

Litong-lito na napalingon. Kasabay noon, isang malakas na lagabog muli ang nagmula sa pinto. Sinipa ng mga security personnel ang pinto. Tatlong HelixCore security operatives ang pumasok, sabay-sabay kumilos laban sa natitirang intruder.
