The Pack's Weirdo : A Mystery To Unveil นิยาย & เรื่องราว

"He's the reason the fang squad win all the academy game. He's ruthless, Isla. He doesn't just fight, he breaks. No one has ever lasted a full five minutes against him in the sparring ring." A cold knot forms in my stomach. The cursed Pack. A name whispered in fear, a cautionary tale told to pups to keep them from wandering too far into the wilder lands. Their pack is fairly small, isolated, and afflicted by a curse that's said to rot them from the inside out. It makes their wolves unpredictable, unstable. Uncontrollable. They are pariahs. And he is the only one here… the only one I have ever seen. "I heard... they're dangerous," I say, the words feeling inadequate.

I picked up the fourth book I had taken and read the title printed onto the cover. ‘The Great Packs’. It told the story of the great wars and battles between the seven great packs throughout history. To think that all this knowledge was at my disposal all along but I would have never guessed to come and look for it because I thought shifters only existed in books and TVs. There were five great packs: Lunar, Eclipse, Bloodmoon, Solstice and Bragavone. The Lunar pack was the one that was completely wiped out, the one, which I was born into. The Eclipse pack was Jason’s pack. It was known to be a strong pack but it was not the strongest pack that was out there. That title belonged to the Bloodm

Selene had risked everything to bring this to light, and now it was time to use it. The murmurs in the room quieted as I raised my hand. “Brothers and sisters,” I began, my voice echoing through the hall. “We gather here not as divided factions, but as a pack—wolves who have lived together, fought together, and bled together. Today, I present to you the truth—a truth that has been hidden in the shadows for too long.” I gestured to Merrin, who stepped forward and spread the documents across the table for all to see. Gasps rippled through the room as the gathered pack members leaned in, their eyes widening at the damning evidence.

He was the one who told him I’m getting suspicious of him, and that only made him hate me more. My dad had never suspected that he would do such a thing, and that was because he had trusted him. My uncle’s pack was killed and he was the only survivor, and that was why he came to this pack. My dad being so naive accepted him in and he gave him the position to be the beta of his pack, and that was after the death of the former beta of the pack.

“Are you trying to piss them off?” “No,” she replied under her breath. “But, you know, I think all the Triquetras are bi-sexual, Cam. Or at least, all of the Triquetras that Greg has met are. You guys were so freaked out that you were the only ones… And I think it’s normal. It’s the way it’s meant to be. Which is really f-ked up when you think about it, as most of the shit you guys put me through when we were teenagers was because you were hiding that you were f-king each other. Your pack, all werewolves really, seem to be absolutely f-ked up in the head over a lot of conservative patriarchal bullshit and I wonder why and whose fault it is.”

My mind is still bursting with the knowledge I have discovered, but I am starting to grasp things a bit better. Ariella was correct, though: I needed to join the Pack. I am already acquainted with a few of the Wolves, but I am stuck until they let me in. Ariella does not seem to have come so far, and the only Wolf she knows is Hendrick. But it does not imply someone from the Palawan Pack did not kill her. If there is one thing I have learned from Thomas's account of Sashi and the Wolf cult, it is that they are fiercely private. The recording concludes, and I finally pocket my mobile. My coffee is almost drained and ice cold. It is time to go home.

It was so awkward to say the least. "This urgent meeting was called because of the sudden shake of the first pack. Now, let me ask all of you. Did your individual pack feel the quake?" The leader of the third pack spoke. "Yes, Alpha Whadh. I believe we all did." "Is he speaking for all of you?" My eyes swept over the faces of the leaders still bowing their heads. "We all felt it, Alpha Whadh." They all chorused a sound answer. While they stood there, I studied their chopped arms and ears of those defaulters who came to ride on me. They thought they could dethrone me. Like…

Alpha Avery and Alpha Blaine were also intently looking at the syringe and nodded when they felt my eyes on them. "What do you mean?" Dominic asked. Alpha Avery cleared his throat. "As you know our three packs specifically had a very long war with each other hundreds of years ago for hunting ground rights as our packs were formed fairly close to one another due to my pack being the forefather of the other two. During this war a few wolves from my pack created a drug that would make us stronger. The side effects were horrendous and a law was put into motion that no one would ever use that substance again. My pack shamefully admitted the truth and the hunting ground that was in question we bes

curious Mike asked. I shrugged pretending as if I was not bothered. “Beats me, I am still wondering the same. But who said the people in that pack are normal? The name of the pack says it all, not to mention their alpha. Everything there is weird and leaves me unsettled every time.” He nodded. “I feel the same way; I am glad he accepted the donation and that I don’t have to go back there. Being there is unsettling and always sends cold shivers down my spine. There is just something about then that I can’t put a finger on.” There was something alright.

Her breath caught, her features contorting with a mix of shock and perplexity, as she utters words that seemed to escape before she could consider them, "I find it rather difficult to believe your words." Yet, he responds with an air of nonchalance, a sense of amused patience. "Feel free to consult your father for confirmation." Her skepticism was not easily dismissed, and with a flicker of determination, she affirms, "Well, I might just do that." Her thoughts then veered off on a tangent, weaving into a spiral of contemplation, "Although, it does strike me as peculiar how you guys refer to this location as a, 'pack'. Given my knowledge, 'pack' refers to a collective of wolves. Ignorance asi
