“Alpha!” Both pups start to cry at the menacing look on the man’s face, though it’s clear by the way he circles the room with both arms stretched in front of him that he still can’t see us. The Alpha’s footsteps storm down the hall telling me it’s only a matter of time until Hester’s forced to break her spell, revealing the secret she’s hiding. “Hester!” Xavier shouts just as I predicted. But before she can reply, a resounding explosion shakes the foundations and Xavier curses, turning toward the sound of the blast. I risk edging toward the window, peeling back the curtain to look outside.

“The scariest part about disappearance isn’t the silence–it’s how quickly everyone learns to live with it.” HOSEA The red in my vision is slowly clearing. Xavier stands there right before me, arms wide, grinning like some comic book villain who’s missed his cue. Same haircut, same scuffed prefect badge, same untouchable confidence. My hands clench and unclench before I ball them into fists. “You think that’s funny?” “Actually? Yeah,” he says, still chuckling. “Figured you’d clock me quicker, you’re getting slow.”

FINAL DAY OF THE AWAKENING Chaos’s P.O.V I was awoken by the beating of drums and the echoes of a chant you rarely heard even back in our home realm. A chant that was as old as time itself. I turned to find Xavier leaning against the headboard with his eyes squeezed shut.

While Xyneth was busy packing her gift for Xavy which is a comic story, it was her handmade comic story and she spent one week to finished it, she secretly made it when Xavy's asleep that's why she's been lacking some sleep these days to finished the comic that she wanted to gave him as his gift. What type of comic is it? It was were, Xavy was the main character and the people who loves him was there, and every chapter has it's own meaning and Xavy can only understand what she meant by every phrase that she wrote on every chapter since she knows that he can analyze it. The comic has 50 chapters but it doesn't have an epilogue since she doesn't want to put an end to the happiness on the chapt

So we could use each other! I like the idea but it will be useless if we die here together! Fortunately, we reached the next stage and only 3 minutes left! The guy flinched back in fear. His mind recalled the lost battle. And suddenly he realized where he was and how he ended up there. "S...Silvia?" The man tried and pretended to be unaware but Hunter wasn't having it. With a low growl, his claws extended out and he grabbed that guy's throat letting his claws pierce his skin causing blood to ooze out. "She... She was a seer who helped Alpha Alonso win all the battles," The guy said fearfully.

I whimper as I shut my eyes, trying to take my head far before he stops me by placing his free hand under my chin. The pain of his touch electrifies my whole cells. I imagine death, the ruthless phantom that feeds on lives, especially innocent ones. I would not call mine innocent though, which is why I could not help but think that if I die today, will I be able to see my mother? “Young flesh,” Xaulfur groans, much to my surprise. His voice has a wolfish growl, pushing its way brutally into my eardrums. When I open my eyes, I find his face in front of mine. He could be tall, but I am tall enough to reach the point where I now watch his Adam's apple move as he speaks again.

Seeing the muzzle of the gun, I felt strangely calm. Yes, firstly I was startled, but after that, my body relaxed. My shoulders dropped weakly while I contemplated whether I would have the time to feel the pain from the gunshot. Surely, it would be a less painful death than the one I narrowly escaped. Maybe, because my emotions were still under the influence of the earlier nightmare, I felt exhausted and numb. I didn’t want to fight nor plead for my life. It was pointless, as Xavier said. Just a waste of breath.
