Then I woke up. I gripped the bedsheet because my head is feeling a sharp pain again and I could feel that my palms are both sweating. I went in the comfort room to wash my face. When I looked in the mirror, I gasped when I saw myself in it. I caressed my cheeks, and noticed it was hollowed. There were dark circles under my mournful eyes, and my lips were withered and colorless. What shocked me the most is the sudden dripping of blood from my nose. I wiped it off with my hands. As I looked at it, there’s a shiver runs down to my spine.

I cry silently against my bedroom door for awhile and then make my way to my bathroom. I look in the mirror and take in my appearance. My long brown hair is disheveled and my blue eyes are red and swollen. I glance down and notice my nose is still dripping blood and starting to swell a little bit and my cheek is a dark shade of pink. I've treated myself plenty of times so this is nothing new. I was actually lucky this time it was just a nose bleed.

In the mirror, my reflection stared back—paler than usual, but no fresh bleeding. I pressed a hand to my chest, trying to slow my breathing. I was fine. I had to be fine.

I don't regret drinking it, I had to otherwise I would end up breaking something until that internal agony stopped, I just didn't want such pain afterwards, even though I prefer the physical one now to the internal one yesterday.
