She rotated her shoulders, cracked her neck, then glanced back at the others who were watching her in tense silence.
“Alright, bitches,” she said, voice louder than necessary, “line up and look pretty. We’re going to make this place regret waking the hell up.”
Tora snorted. “You always have to make an entrance?”
“I’m the Huntress,” Cheyenne replied, drawing her twin blades with a sharp metallic ring. “It’s kinda my thing.”
Charlie fell into step beside her with a grin. “Lead the way.”
Cheyenne lifted her nose slightly, sniffing the air. “This way. I smell rot, resentment, and bad parenting trauma. We’re close.”
