Grandma expressed, staring at Rowen with a wolf gaze. "You should have a driver, Row," he had told her to stop calling him that; however, she always insisted. "You know I have fired all my drivers; they drive really slow like snails," he admitted, increasing his speed. "And you drive really fast, Row," Grandma banged her hands, elderly and frustrated. “Even if I'm to walk to the pack's hospital, I wouldn't even make it halfway” , she whispered . "Get in," a lousy voice called her from behind.

However, an old woman is standing in the driveway, and I assume she’s the Grandma that he’s talking about. “We can park here,” Gio says, so I stop the car and we all get out. We head toward the woman, with Gio leading the way happily, but I can see that her eyes are fixed on me. And the fear in them is almost tangible. “You didn’t tell me it was going to be him,” she whispers to Gio without breaking eye contact. “You didn’t tell me it’s this animal--” “Grandma?” Gio asks in a panic. “What’s wrong?”

Just thinking about it was like taking a blade to the heart. That very night, however, Grandma appeared in my dream again. She seemed to know of our family's current predicament. "Vanessa, go to the oak tree behind the hill," she said, sighing deeply. "Your Grandpa buried gold bars there for a rainy day. Now that the prices are high, selling them can solve our immediate financial woes." In my past life, I listened to Grandma and excitedly told Dad the news. Yet, who would've thought that what was hidden there wasn't gold but white powder?

Grandpa Oscar suggested while clutching his bleeding side. "That is a good plan until we can somehow get rid of these bastards!" Grandma Rose replied parrying the strong claw of the wolf before kicking the other on its maw. The wolf suddenly clawed at her stomach successfully cutting through her flesh making her crimson blood pool from her gut. Grandpa Oscar snapped and pushed himself up with his bayonet before stabbing the wolf and beating it down to the ground. It whimpered as it died while its companion pounced on the old man biting down hard on his throat making blood gush out in a fountain. His tortured screams reverberated through the air as the wolf sank his fangs deeper against his n

The place was silent, nobody could process what had just happened, we were all still in a bit of shock. I slumped to the floor, breathing heavily while Rebecca ran to her mom on the floor and held her head up, crying with so much pain. My mom went to her and helped her up, engulfing her in a very comforting hug as she cried. Granddad cried silently too, he still had the guilt etched on his face, I hope he gets over it. That night, I had the most normal, peaceful and dreamless sleep I've ever had in years! -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

he sighed, running his gloved hand through his dark hair. “A gig?” I asked, slamming the hood of his car shut and burying my hands into the pocket of my coat. “Oh yes, apparently some kid in this neighborhood wanted Santa so bad his mother was willing to pay twice the f*e, so I agreed to show up even in this shitty weather,” he chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. “Wait, this neighborhood?” I asked, scrunching up my face in a frown. “Well yes,” he murmured, scrolling through his phone, then raised his head to look around for a bit before meeting my eyes.

there’s that look again I should’ve been dead hours ago she rolled her eyes turning back to the window. We were maybe thirty minutes from home when I spotted the first cow, of course, it was a black cow so I didn’t see it until the headlights flashed across it. I slammed on the brakes causing the seatbelts to lock and jerking us forward a little, ”What Are You Doing!” Reagan screamed her body shaking slightly. All the color had drained from her face. “Well, I figured you wouldn’t want us to hit the cows” I pointed towards the cow in the road. “Seriously…..” was all she said as her eyes widened, ”There’s gotta be hundreds here, grrr it’s bad enough that my grandma drives faster than you but t

Irene said, changing the subject right then. She was not going to find out anything with James around anyway. "By the way, how's the plan going on at the moment?" she asked. Stan became excited at the very mention of that. "Well, it's over for Quincy Moore. That woman sabotaged Mr. Jefferson's parents' car, causing it to crash into the river and killing them both, just so that she could take control over the Jeffersons. She's even crazy enough to have tried killing Mr. Jefferson although he was just a child, but fortunately, he managed to survive."
