I moved toward it instinctively, drawn by its call to my blood.
As I approached, the light grew, expanding from a distant pinpoint to a radiant sphere that pushed back the darkness. Within its silver glow, floating in midair, was a teardrop-shaped crystal about the size of my palm—the Lunar Tear.
Its surface rippled like liquid mercury, though it maintained its solid form. Within its depths, I could see swirls of moonlight captured in crystal, moving in patterns that mirrored the phases of the moon.
