Luffy Grabbing Lightning

When the kidnapper fired the gun, I shielded Scott with my body. The bullet pierced my heart, and I was sent overseas to have my heart exchanged with an artificial one—one that ran on a battery. Because of this heart, Scott married me, and my friends congratulated me for finally having my wish granted, for finally marrying my childhood sweetheart. Later, when I laid there on the operating table with my chest cut open, he was kissing another woman under the moonlight. I didn't react to this in the slightest, recovering my heart in silence. Scott resented my numbness, grabbing my shoulders as he demanded, "Wendy, aren't you angry about this?" He didn't know the reason, and to be honest, it was quite simple. Why be angry when my heart was on the verge of giving out? Every passionate day he spent chasing after love… Was another tick in the countdown to the end of my life.

“No, i…. I...i don't want to die.” i managed to say, still struggling to catch my breath. “Good, because i only grant death to people who don't want to live anymore.” he said grabbing my neck. “Alpha Marcus, she is here. Ella is here?” I didn't recognize the voice but he immediately let go of his grip on my neck. Any minute longer and i think i would have died. He walked towards the strange man standing at the door, the room was full of tension now. Who was Ella and what was she here for? They both stepped outside and he shouted from the doorway. “You better be in your best behavior when i come back or you are going to join your mother.” Painful tears stung my eyes, every time he mentioned my mother i wished she had lived long enough to protect me.

He slammed her back against the closed door making her grit her teeth as she glared at him. “Camellia,” his voice was dripping with controlled fury yet that endearment rolled off his tongue in a raspy growl. “I don’t like other men touching you,” he grumbled, grabbing her jaw, his fingers firmly pressing into her cheeks as he made her hazel eyes look into his dark greys. “I’m not yours,” she said with gathered-up bravado though his intimidating presence made her feel so timid. He leaned closer as her eyes fell on the camellia flower that was inked on his neck. His hot breath tickled her lips as his intense stare lingered on her lips. “You’re mine, Camellia. Mine!” With a low growl, he crashed his lips on hers. DARK ROMANCE!
