“Fair enough,” Lexus said, pushing off the counter and standing up straight. “But you’ve got to find a balance, or you’ll crash and burn. Ikaw din, yung kakilala ko, ganyan din, ayun kasama pa ko nung dinala sa mental,”
“I’m already halfway there,” I muttered, rubbing my temples. “But thanks for the advice, anyway.”
He grinned at me. “You’re welcome, Mom.”
I rolled my eyes and took another sip of coffee. “Yeah, you’re hilarious.”
