Her expression goes distant for a moment, her gaze outward again, and empty; then turning back, she looks up into my face. "When I was a little girl, we didn't have a lot of books, but all the ones we had, I read. And my favourites were always the old myths and fairy tales; stories about Greek and Roman and Egyptian gods, Norse warriors and ice giants in the north, Hans Christian Anderson, Brothers Grimm, all that sort of thing....

Baba Yaga laughed. “Will I look like you some day, all warty as a toad with hair on my chinny chin chin like the Three Little Pigs?” Baba Yaga ruffled her hair. “If you are lucky, Annushka, you will look half as ugly and be twice as powerful as me, just like the last Little Pig.” Dmitri chuckled, picking her up to tickle her chin. “And what do we say to black-hearted big bad wolves who want to blow our houses down, my little fern flower?”

She sure as hell didn’t catch mine. “Mav, what’s going on here?” Nina asked, the concern in her tone obvious to me and most likely obvious to our unwelcomed and invasive intruders. “Baby, It’s a damn shame that you waste your time on the likes of her and not your own” The she wolf remarked, eyeing Nina with a distaste. “The likes of who? In case you didn’t have a brain up there, he’s taken so I suggest you go looking elsewhere” Nina stepped forward, her stance straightening out with her head tilted up. Standing her ground and marking her territory in a human way.

"I want to hear the story of Cinderella now." Liam hurriedly searched for the story of Cinderella again. "No, no, no, I want to hear the story of The Big Bad Wolf and the Little Rabbit." 'The Big Bad Wolf and the Little Rabbit?' Again, Liam searched on his phone, but he couldn't find the story at all. "Which story?" "It's the story about a little white rabbit crossing a river and coming across a big wolf, and the two having a fight." "Uh …" Liam searched on his phone some more, but still he couldn't find it.

50am, so I have plenty of time until I need to be at Zee’s house. After checking my emails (nothing new), messages and notifications (lots of new stuff but nothing really important) and looking at the latest #fable tweets by fans (plenty of rumors and speculations about where they are, but nothing mentioning Portland, so their secret is still safe), I jump in the shower, washing away the worries of the past few days. Once I’m done I get changed into denim shorts and a white gypsy-style top, light and airy enough for the warm weather outside.

This was an honest execution of the promised, right away action. "Let's go down, our babies waiting for us to eat with them. Jade nodded and get ready. In the living room, the little twins were watching television about science and technology channel. "Mommy! Daddy!" little Nova run toward her parents. the master carried instantly his daughter. "How is my little cute monkey?" the master asked her daughter. "Daddy, no! I'm not a monkey!" little Nova protested. "Why not?" the master said joking. "Because, because, if am a monkey then you are a monkey too because you are my daddy!" little Nova explained.

I need to rein myself in so I focus my attention on something else. "I was starting to think that you had done a runner!" Her cheeks instantly burn up and it's got me curious. "Hmm.. no I... I was nervous about coming out!" She looks down at her feet as she talks but I'm not having that, I hook my finger under her chin and lift it until our eyes meet. "Why were you nervous little wolf?" She smiles wide at my nickname for her and my heart skips a beat at how happy she looks. "Because it is the first time you have seen me in this little...!"

Nina witnessed that pretty lady telling her and her granny with a smile on her face. “Hope to see you soon, my pretty angel,” Nina beamed and nodded at that woman. “Bye bye…” she waved at that woman, seeing her walking away from there. “She was so pretty and beautiful like a fairy, granny,” little Nina told her grandmother, making her chortle. That little girl again darted her eyes in the direction that pretty lady had vanished. “When I will get big, I will also become like her,” A tear slipped down from her cerulean eyes as she recalled that day of her past when she had met her for the first and last time and had even wished to be like her one day.

We entered, and I couldn't help but gasp in surprise. I see a lot of fairies flying around and having some fun. Fairy warriors were rehearsing, the others were chasing each other in the air, while some fairies were taking care of the flowers. I gasped when I saw a fairy child without wings. Huh? Why does the little fairy have no wings? It’s odd. "Welcome to Fairy Land, Leena!" they said together while smiling. "Thank you!" I said. "But who is that little girl?" I asked them and pointed to the child, who looked like she was six years old. The little girl is so cute, like a princess.

’ Mum laughs. ‘Mum!’ I growl. Almost everyone at the table is blushing. ‘What? It’s only natural, dear.’ She shrugs. Amelia clears her throat. ‘Nina will get her wolf tonight. I’m so excited.’ ‘Yeah, exciting.’ Nina mumbles. ‘Let’s hope there is no drama’s this time, unlike Zak’s wolf ceremony where Nina had been kidnapped.’ Mum says with a nervous laugh. Nina leaves the table as soon as she finishes breakfast. She runs upstairs and runs back down, now wearing a backpack.
