It gave me a feeling of deja vù as if I had been in this situation before. I love fireworks but the feeling was different, as if it had something special to tell me. As if trying to help me out, his warm breaths that were constantly touching my neck, pushed me into a rewire. A pair of familiar black eyes filled with possessiveness, warm hands, harsh hold flashed behind my eyes before I opened my eyes with a jerk, along with a loud gasp. I was only trying to process what just happened when Christian turned me around to face him. “ You had a flashback!?” It was more of a statement but I couldn't focus on whatever he said as my brain was totally hijacked by the disturbing flashes.

I grabbed it and looked at all the contents on my cellphone. "Did I go back to the past? I've read novels about traveling to the past, or maybe transmigrating, but I think it's all just fiction. However, now I'm experiencing it," I muttered to myself, looking around my room. I was determined to make sure of everything, so I rushed into the bathroom to get ready to go to the office. During the trip to the office, I really felt that all of this felt real to me. Suddenly, I seemed to remember something.

* Flashback * When I woke up in the morning. Karan was in deep sleep because of tiredness. I looked at his face and suddenly all my previous memories started to rush into my brain. I found it painful but not that much I couldn’t handle. I wanted to scream because of the pain, but I didn’t as I didn’t want to disturb Karan’s sleep

Couldn’t fathom why I let him separate me from my family. We had a nasty fight and hurtful words were exchanged from both ends. By the end of it my face was aching and tears were streaming down my face. That was the last time I spoke to her. **End of Flashback** “Blair? Blair, can you hear me?” I blinked and came back to myself with a jerk. My mind always felt sluggish after a flashback – as if I was hearing everything underwater and seeing everything through a thick haze. I shook my head to clear it and noticed Mac’s face so close to mine, looking alarmed. He had a hand on my shoulder and one hand felt the back of my head in search of injuries as he frantically called my name.

A rush of color and light slapped me upside the head, and I found myself staring down not at my hand, but at the knife that rested within it. The darkness came and went as I moved, sprinting towards the Ogre with the knife tucked close to my side. I waited for the terror to take hold, for it to thicken in my veins like cement, rooting me in place…only, it never came. I’d never understood what a flashback was, but I assumed it was this. Small segments of the past were clouding my vision, overlapping with the present as I danced along the fine line between them both.

I suddenly remembered what the fortune-teller had told me, and that is when everything made sense. *Flashback* “The tower is telling me that you are currently going through a crisis, and that you recently experienced a sudden change, maybe in perspective... Maybe a change of events?” *End of flashback* A change in events... I changed what happened in the past, so fate is trying to catch up to us... We never went to the snowman building competition... We have not done anything that we did in the past... So, there was no way for me to know how everything was going to turn out...

Jack walked to the table's edge, "can I make you a toasted sandwich with cheese?" Nicole had a flashback of her and Jack in the kitchen at a big white house with a burglar since he had an unforgettable scent that morning he made her breakfast. "Jack, I am having flashbacks of us, I can't remember everything, but I am slowly recovering my memory. What happened to us?" Angela walked in, "You cheated on him. Enough of the act Nicole." Nicole's stood there speechless, then said, "I cheated on you?" Jack nodded; Jessica then stepped in, "I love how this whole thing unfolded in front of my eyes. I stood there listening to your arrow story, and I am surprised they even kept you around."

What did I do to deserve all of these? The bitter part is the memories from the past suddenly come back all over again just like a flashback. How Thyago was crazily in love with Elena, the disdainful looks and condemning stares of those bullies, and the excruciating pain towards Thyago's avoidance and rejection. The sadness and anguish are all coming back in her memories. The way Thyago turned his back on her and how he hurt her with his hurtful words. Those hard and painful times are all coming back like a replay. Unfortunately, it feels like she was in the same situation again but with a twisted and different version because this was more painful and vicious.

= The use of flashbacks has come to an end = In fact, as she held the book in her hands, Asteria had a memory flashback to when she was a small child and remembered herself as a student at an exclusive private school. That's adorable! But, it's also terrible for her, because she had no idea what her ability is.
