Twin Souls

Twin Souls

“Let him fight! Let him fight! Let him fight!” Kelvin stood up and looked around until his eyes met mine. Then he knelt in front of the chapel as the rain began to pour again. I looked up to the sky and saw the clouds parting for the blood moon to emerge. And the chatting became louder. “Let him fight! Let him fight! Let him fight!” Kelvin slit his wrists with the spirit sword and allowed the blood to drip on the stairs of the chapel. And we all heard a rumbling sound apart from the sound of thunder as Darka emerged from beneath the chapel. “Let him fight! Let him fight! Let him fight!”

Fated Power - Fated Destiny

Fated Power - Fated Destiny

I would bet anything that it was Rhymerio. Idiotically, his aura rushed out at me. He was a one trick pony it seemed. Okay. We could play that game. Let us whip out our auras and measure them. Mine slammed into his, causing him to hiss in pain. “I would offer my condolences for dear old dad, but death was far too good for him. My soul is at peace knowing that he will forever burn for his sins. Don’t worry because you’ll join him very soon.” The air was electrified as if it knew how monumental these moments were and how important the memory would be for years to come. It was the moment that led up to destroying an absolute monster who thrived within the destruction of chaos and torment.

The Dark Moon and Fated series are definitely in my top 10 books of all time! Your ability to tell a story and bring it to life is amazing! When I’m reading I can actually picture it in my head as if I’m watching a movie! Love Dante, Chris, Ziyah and the whole pack! I highly recommend these books!!!

Three books into the Fated Series, and I can't put them down. I've reread everything within them multiple times. Incredible imagination doesn't even begin to cover it. I love this author's creativity and inclusion of various supernatural species, but I especially love the unique take on it all.

Soulless Seas

Soulless Seas

I say to her when she shrieks at me and I chuckle at her as I turn and walk away, but stop when I see Gaia point at Bethany. “Oh, I thought you would have learnt your lesson last time. Human. Such a pity. Your soul and those who have followed you will feed my gate. The monsters are ravenous for your corrupted souls.” She chuckles as she turns, flicking her blonde ponytail behind her as she cat walks towards me and I shake my head at her. “Oh, I forgot. Bethany. Why don’t you tell your good friend Sephone what happened to Shanti? I bet she is dying to know the truth.” Her eyes flash a bright red and I turn to look at Sephone, who blinks and looks at Bethany.

EMERGENCE: The Subnatural Chronicles

EMERGENCE: The Subnatural Chronicles

“We end this requiem.” The rift pulses, its void-energy surging, the Veilheart crystal dimming, Lumora’s spires trembling. The Herald’s hymn echoes, a promise of ruin, but our flame burns, a legacy forged in starlight, ready to face the cosmos’s new shadow.

Corrupted

Corrupted

Ahlum said, regaining her posture, going back to join Sir Zuka and others while all of them turned to Katastrofi again, prepared for his next attack. “You shall regret your actions now.” Snarling, he tapped his scythe again and called upon another dimension to the real world, much harder and darker than the one they had faced till now. “Requiem Of Blood.” Upon casting this spell, the night grew darker with crimson shades, horrifying everyone when the scarlet clouds began to emerge as from them Angels of death emerged. In their black robes, faces hidden and holding the scythe to steal the souls of whoever skin they would graze.

The Forgotten God

The Forgotten God

"I offered you gold. Something you craved yet you could never show or use, something worthless. I offered protection for your tasks alone, no more, no less. My part of the bargain is fulfilled. If you want women, as you claimed, they come and go, you have no need of me there. Wine them to the excess and then they are yours. Those who come to the Godly world are paid for such pleasures anyway." "He-he will find out..." Zuberi's fear-stricken whisper only enhanced the slimy grin. "And who's fault is that?" Zuberi blanched. "The impious Soul screams: I burn; I am ablaze; I know not what to cry or do; wretched me, I am devoured by all the ills that compass me about; alack, poor me, I neither see

The Professor’s Mate: The Moonborn Legacy

The Professor’s Mate: The Moonborn Legacy

“The thread severed completely at dawn. There is no flicker remaining, neither is an echo. The body breathes because the lungs still remember how. The heart beats because muscle remembers rhythm. But the soul has long crossed. He is gone.” The words landed heavy. I expected them but I still felt them punch through my ribs. I nodded once. “I know.” Dad entered behind me. He stopped a few paces back and crossed his arms tight across his chest like he needed to hold himself together. Kael spoke again. “We can perform the rite now if you wish. Or wait until moonrise.” “Now,” I said. “I don’t want to drag this out.” Mara slipped inside carrying a small clay bowl filled with ash and crushed moonfl

His Soul

His Soul

He lacked inner peace. He inhaled the vinous smoke as the corner of his lips twitched in a sad smile. His eyes deceived him being moist and a lone tear slipped down his face on the sand. The sand sucked the water as soon as it fell on it, and he wondered if his pain disappeared in thin air like that. He breathed out a puff of smoke through his nose and mouth. Looking up at the sky with the sad smile plastered on his face he spoke up, "Why so hatred for me, ya Rab?"

A Soulless Man

A Soulless Man

"Evet." When he lowered his head and entered his room, he came across a picture of his parents. With a wry smile and heavy steps, he went to the nightstand and took the picture in his hand. While the word "I'm sorry" was falling from his mouth with broken sobs, he embraced the picture among his rising cries... Death was right, but the person who caused it would suffer from remorse until he died... ***

La Requiem

La Requiem

I wished it to be all over as I had had enough of the constant threats and sprints to flee from the unbending enemy. Now I had found Bashir and I had thought it would be the beginning of our triumph but instead he came bearing more disheartening news, leaving me the more depressed and dispirited. "A moment of silence, A moment of summons," Bashir voiced, breaking through the tranquil and lonely moods instilled around us as we performed a ritual rite in honor of the fallen. "And so the echoes that carry the messages of their pains, will always be in the minds of time," I followed in recitation of 'the scars to the Prophet' by Mingo Cane as a tribute in respect for our brothers.
