If he hadn’t shown up, I was sure Lexie would still be here today. I found my hunger had doubled since she left and I found myself having to feed more often but only on blondes that looked like her. For the first few months I would only feed but then I came across a girl that looked just like Lexie and I ordered her every time trying to fill the hunger that I had in Lexie’s absence for her. But even though the girl looked similar, the taste wasn’t the same and it never satisfied me one hundred percent.

I'm furious “ What is the meaning of this? You took me to this place without my permission and now you want to restrict my movement. Alpha or whatever you are called, it can't happen” He stood up and threw the plate of food to the ground and lunch towards me. He began strangling me, I couldn't breathe “ How dare you talk to me like that. Am the alpha and you have to respect me.” I tried to push him but he was too strong. I began to lose consciousness “ Alpha, alpha. She is your mate “ someone shouted behind me. I black out

Riley I dragged my tongue across my cracked, dry lips, the metallic taste of blood lingering there as I watched him—this human who held me captive in this damn basement. I still didn’t know his name, and I couldn’t decide if he was keeping that detail from me to protect himself…or to keep me guessing. But I knew one thing for certain: I was hungry. Starving, really, and my stomach growled loud enough that even he noticed. “I’m hungry,” I snapped, watching his gaze narrow, sharpening like he could see right through me.

It’s as if she feels guilty for being able to eat well when I couldn’t. “The first Reaping after I took the job made me see that there was something very wrong happening with the food. I was not quite old enough for the Reaping but I watched along with everyone else. I saw it then. The girls were underweight. Many of them looked like skeletons while others had little meat on their bones. But what was the oddest was the girls who were from the families of the leaders in the village had a very healthy. They all looked as if they ate plenty and some if even looked as if they ate over the amount that a person should.”

she closed the door holding on to her throbbing head. her stomach grumbles, only then did she realize she hasn't eaten and except for the half loaf of bread, there's nothing more to it...she planned on going shopping but because of what happened, she didn't think about it. she is just throwing off a bank card as if it's nothing and now she is dying of hunger, how pathetic...With no other choice, she picks on her breath and eats making sure she drinks enough water to hold on to her stomach...

I squeezed myself to the wall sacred that the Alpha has already sold me off as a sex slave but instead a plate of small portion of rice and sardine was pushed inside alongside a bottle water before the door closed again, I’d didn’t even get the chance to see thee person with only means that I can’t beg anyone to save me in the mansion. “Am I some kind of dog that they caged and keep feeding ? I won’t eat their food “ I said angrily while crossing my arms , I ignored the rumbling sounds of my stomach and how dry my throat felt because of the thrust. I haven’t eaten anything for 24 hours and the little pride I have left in me kept me from touching the food till someone opened the door and kept

Light sparks ignite my skin as his thumb moves in soft cicrles across my knuckles “Neah?” he whispers as I struggle to open my eyes. The lights are bright and I slam my eyelids shut. “Neah, you are okay.” “What happened?” I murmur, squinting at him. 'You didn't eat.' Nyx murmurs “Your blood sugar was dangerously low. You passed out.” “That’s what you get for not letting me eat.” I mutter with half a smile. It had happened all the time when Trey and the others had starved me. “Why didn’t I just heal?”

I whispered Before I could properly think my stomach growled and it came with a sharp pain,My mind drifted back to how I was starved for almost a week by the kidnappers before I was finally killed. Dragging myself to the kitchen, i frantically searched for anything to eat before I die, this time from severe hunger. luckily I found a large box of cold Mac and cheese in the fridge, without thinking I pulled it out and dropped to floor. The first bite almost broke me. I didn’t even bother heating it up, I was too hungry to even care. Scooping handful after handful into my mouth, I felt like if I stopped eating at any moment I might pass out, my hands shook so badly the food almost slipped throug
