"I have the one responsible for all the damage anyway. I can spank her ass until I'm satisfied." She quit playing with the ends of her hair, allowing them to slither back over her smooth shoulder. She watched him closely with those incredible chocolate eyes as though trying to figure out a puzzle. "You really did know it was me that took out your Audi? And stole the Regera? His shouting stopped when his eyes landed on Grace. “You. You goddamn bitch you drugged me, I am going to kill you!” “I mean you get to see my face now haha?” Grace said with her voice shaking, a sad attempt at trying to calm him down. “You sadistic whore, I’m going to get you for this, oh you just wait.” The calmer man looked at the panicking one and said, “Theo. Look at me.” It was the kind of deep voice that was so very easy to fall in love with, that auditory caramel. ‘Theo’ stopped panicking and looked at the man with wide, shocked eyes that immediately turned to relief.

Theo felt a pang of emotion as he waved goodbye, watching the wheels begin to turn and the carriage roll away. Theo stood for a moment, lost in thought as the sound of hooves faded into the distance. This was his life now. A life of simple joys and familial love. He had made peace with the world he'd left behind and now for Damian Clarke, who was now known as Theodore Mitchell, this life was a second chance and he intended to cherish every moment of it.
