Veronica Costume Heathers 소설 & 이야기

She was our Battle Luna, the woman who had saved our army and won the heart of our citizens. But my quiet peace was suddenly broken by a sharp, bitter voice echoing from across the hall. I turned my head slitly, my silver eyes narrowing into cold slits. Lady Veronica was standing near the central fireplace, surrounded by a group of lesser noble Alphas. These were the leaders of small, distant packs who were easily scared and easily led. Veronica was wearing a grand dress of dark purple velvet, covered in gold threads. Her grey hair was pulled up high, and her wrinkled face was twisted into a look of dramatic worry.

Vegas quickly chipped in and she just nodded "Isn't mine" "Are you sure you're good? You just got shot!" Pete cried out. "I'm wearing a vest," she said, trying to pull up a corner of her clothing to show the undershirt bullet vest she was wearing. Oh no no!! What the fuck.

With her step back she began to growl lowly at me, she did not like that. "Veronica." She whispered. I felt some disappointment within me, a small part of me had truly thought she was Cassandra, but no. So who was this girl? Veronica? This was Veronica. Notorious killer and feared by many. I felt sickened, I felt the disgust seep into my expression. I was mated to a monster. "You're monster! You're demon!" I hissed out, completely appalled, why on earth was I of all people mated with her?

POV: Heather “I need a sexy outfit that Xander would love,” I blurted out without thinking, causing the girls to laugh out loudly. “See who is falling in love with the prince,” Marietta lets out teasingly, making them laugh out loudly as they both teased me continuously.

No emotion can be read in his face, but he cannot hide the tear that slipped away from his eyes. Queen Helia, and her husband King Aiden sobbed silently. Looking at their daughter's resting face. Neo clenched his fist as he was trying hard not to cry. "The Heatherians' queen, our queen, has fallen. Let's all salute for her bravery and heroism. Rest in Peace our Queen." Ms. Anthea said before putting her right palm on the top of her head, then on her left chest. The others also did the same, before bowing.

In my first life, my younger sister was adopted by House Ashcroft, Greyhaven’s most powerful pureblood vampire family. She expected wealth, status, and a perfect life. Instead, she received cold adoptive parents and an heir named Lucian who treated her like an intruder. Years later, the Ashcrofts stripped her of their name and inheritance and cast her out with nothing. I went home with the Millers, two cleaners at Night Academy who appeared warm and loving. Despite our poverty, I survived everything that family put me through—and Lucian eventually fell in love with me. Everyone called my life a Cinderella story. My sister believed that ending should have belonged to her. Three days afte

The whispers in the crowd were no longer full of doubt—they were full of awe and respect. At the end of the aisle stood Zephyr, wearing a sharp black suit with silver embroidery on the collar. He looked regal, handsome, and fiercely powerful. But when his eyes locked onto mine, his expression softened with pure love. He stepped down to take my hand, guiding me up to the dais. Elder Vance stepped forward, holding a silver crown adorned with dark moonstones. "In the presence of the Moon Goddess and the Silver Moon Pack," Vance declared loudly, "I present Luna Veronica! Protector of our bloodline, defender of our realm!"

They all had dealt with crime, death, and cruelty before, but my insides kept twisting, and my instincts whispered that we should have done more to prepare them… “So…” Veronica drawled as she stepped out from behind the curtain, dressed in a Dolce suit. “How do I look?” She chuckled and slowly turned around. I snorted. “Like total badass.” She grinned and walked closer. “That means I'm ready.” She grabbed an empty cup and poured coffee into it. I leaned against the front of the table, arms crossed against my chest. My mind still raced, thinking about what else we should tell them before they go out there.

"Yo, long time no see, busy bee," A familiar, infuriating female voice called from behind. Winnie's scalp tingled. Just as she feared, trouble had arrived. Veronica—how did she always know exactly where Winnie would be? Like a dog on her scent, she appeared at the perfect moment. Veronica also wore a cocktail dress—a pale blue strapless mini, paired with minimal jewelry and a rhinestone clutch. The outfit was just her usual style, slightly more formal than everyday wear. Compared to Winnie's grand ensemble, it looked a touch underwhelming.

But I was sure that the most beautiful women I’d ever seen were in this room. “Close your mouth!” Veronica hissed in my ear. “Stop drooling over the other candidates. You look like a total fool!” I quickly closed my mouth and glanced at Veronica. She looked stunning today as well. The antique dress she bought from Osborn’s antique shop perfectly highlighted her arrogant and noble demeanor. Her head was held high, and the ruby necklace around her elegant neck made her look like a swan. “You’ll win today,” I said sincerely. She sneered, flipping her curly blonde hair. “Of course.”
