Diego De Luna, Over My Dead Body

.
The showers of rain remind me of that day.
It was raining hard as they lowered Brielle's casket into the hole in the ground. The hard rain from the sky itself is about to rip in half like my heart has.
I stand motionless, without an umbrella, away from the crowd, hiding in silence, mourning, and listening to the priest talk about life, the blessings of resurrection, suffering, and redemption, about how holy the love of God is to his people. So many words, but it's all useless to me.
