“And ruin the surprise? Not a chance,” Santana says as we enter my room.
“A little…” I stop when I see the dress on a mannequin in the middle of the room, it’s a canary yellow ballgown, my favorite color in the same princess style as the dress in the movie Cinderella. Tears start falling again uncontrollably. “It’s lovely.”
“It is, but you’ll have to cry later. Your prince is waiting.” I sniffle and nod, wiping away my tears.
