"It held for four days. Then it rained." He looked into the fire. "Mr. Osei said nothing for three days. Then, one morning, there was a new bridge over the drainage ditch. Properly built, with Damien's planks incorporated into the structure." She looked at him. "Mr. Osei rebuilt Damien's bridge." "He rebuilt it correctly," Lucian said. "Using what Damien had built as the starting point." He held her gaze. "Damien was seven, and he understood immediately. He said, 'He kept my planks.'"

He could not win her with any sort of appeal to the name of the Moon Goddess who he obviously respected. "And once we cross this river we will nearly be home." He let go of her hand and rubbed her leg as she looked out at the river below. The river was wide and the bridge that spanned it was gorgeous. It took four enormous stone arches for the low bridge to reach from one river bank to the other and she couldn't help but wonder how old it was. Dani leaned forward in her seat to stare at it, and was yanked entirely out of her own spiraling thoughts by the beauty of the scene before her.

She kissed my forehead and left to meet my mom. I planned the brunch and asked the helpers to bring out all the ingredients I listed out for them that I will be using . I planned making a placki ziemnaczane (flat bread made with grated potatoes, onions and sometimes meat or cheese, and then fried until crispy)But our was with meat. My mom and aunty came back to meet me in the kitchen. Aunty was shocked to see that I have prepared so many things. "Oh my God!!!! are we going to have a feast today?? you made something for everyone, I can't wait to see the look on everyone's face... let's surprise them with this feast." She went to personally go call everyone.

"I think I can handle a trials." We rode hard through the forest the trees blurring together as we pushed the horses to their limits. I could hear the trackers behind us. They were getting closer. "The bridge is ahead " Kael shouted over the wind. The Whispering Bridge was a rock bridge that spanned a thousand-foot drop. It was the way to get to the high peaks where the Vault was hidden. As my horses hooves hit the stone the air suddenly became still. The wind stopped,. The silence was even scarier.

for a long moment he didn't answer. Then his expression darkened. "It's not a warning." My stomach tightened. "What is it?" Ezekiel brushed dirt away from a section of stone, words appeared beneath. Not symbols, but actual words. Old but readable, Tyler moved closer. I followed closely behind incase he fell. The message was simple and short. Yet it made my blood run cold. The False Bridge walks east. Nobody spoke. "What?" Matthew said, frowning. Ezekiel uncovered another line. The True Bridge has already awakened.

"May I walk across it?" "Of course." One of the engineers hurried forward. "We'll accompany you." The wooden planks echoed softly beneath my feet. I slowed often, studying the work as carefully as I could. Truthfully... I knew very little about building bridges. So instead of pretending otherwise... I asked questions. "How many people use this crossing?" Samuel answered immediately. "Nearly everyone from the eastern villages." "They bring produce to the market." "The children use it during the school term." I looked down at the river below.

my father went on, "The bridge thrives partially on the sea. As long as there are wayward mortal committing sins then that sea will never run dry and that bridge will never break." I sat there trying to comprehend all the newfound information. My father explained that not only my subconscious but I could also physically transport myself to the bridge. He explained that if the bridge was broken then demons would not have a way to enter the realm of mortals but no light magic would be able to destroy the bridge for the bridge was protected by dark magic. Only someone who wielded dark magic would be able to destroy the bridge but no demon would do that because they gained their strength from mo

he said. “Roger, Claeg!” he answered and approached me to support me as I walked. I saw the bridge that Claeg was referring to and noticed that it was quite old. There were also waterfalls on its side where the tremendous waters rushed down. I could also hear the waves roaring beneath the bridge and the cold windy breezes striking into our skin. When we reached the bridge, Claeg immediately stepped on it, and we heard a loud sound signaling that the wood was frail and the bridge was about to collapse in the meantime.

The bridges were seriously awesome; they were very wide as if you could run two hover bus on them side to side, they were made up of drupinium; they were completely covered like rooms ,and looked like connection stations in shuttles and were to see through even the floor was transparent. (for properties of drupinium, look at chapter. 32 author left the chat) Ben could see everything by standing inside the bridge. He could see the grounds, the evenly spaced trees and other small facilities. After sightseeing all the things, trying to guess out what every building was, as they did not mention some in the maps, the bridge from the main building was about 500 m leading to the central.
