I'm Promise Artinya

Kami sudah menikah selama lima tahun. Suamiku, Derrick, pergi dinas selama setengah tahun, lalu membawa pulang cinta pertamanya, Syifa. Syifa sudah hamil lebih dari tiga bulan dan Derrick bilang hidupnya tidak mudah, jadi akan tinggal di rumahku untuk sementara waktu. Aku menolak, tetapi Derrick malah memintaku untuk jangan bersikap tidak tahu diri. Nada bicaranya penuh rasa jijik, seolah-olah dia lupa vila ini adalah bagian dari mas kawinku. Selama ini, mereka sekeluarga menggunakan uangku. Kali ini, aku memutuskan untuk menghentikan semua sokongan hidup itu. Sambil tersenyum, aku menelepon asisten. "Segera buatkan aku surat perjanjian cerai. Seorang menantu pecundang saja berani terang-terangan membawa selingkuhan pulang ke rumah."

Elphia, seorang perempuan yang pergi dari rumahnya ke desa kecil karena hubungannya dengan keluarganya tidak baik. Di desa itu, dia menghabiskan waktunya dengan melukis. Hingga suatu hari, dia bertemu dengan seorang pria muda yang menemaninya. Namun kebersamaan mereka berakhir karena sang pria meninggalkannya. Apakah mereka akan bertemu lagi?

It's been a rollercoaster ride for Cooper. From being a player, to becoming a one-woman man and to being a first-rate gigolo, and eventually living his life like a bargain-basement rubbish. Kapag hiningi ng pagkakataon, wala siyang magawa but for now she is still enjoying everything she can grasp and won't allow bad memories to haunt her. She wouldn't! But as she set her foot back in the country, memories came flooding in for both Cooper and Zyon. Will their paths cross again? Will they give their past a final closure? Or will they be able to revive what happened before and give it a new twist with a happy ending?

Promise- a big word alright. Craig Anderson, the guy who hates promises. "Promising, it's plane bullshit! Those were just word spewed by those people who loves to play with people's hopes." He hates all the people who made promises including this guy named Yukii Amon. But what made him to be like that? Because he was once promised too. A promise that change him to what he is right now. And who is Yukii ? Let's find out! Will you risk yourself, believing on a promise again? That promise that was once broken? Or was it really broken in the first place? Who knows.

What inspired you to write One Promise? You see, when I was young, life was tough. I grew up with a broken family. I never felt the love I wanted all my life. I've always love reading. That's when I found my new comfort through writing. Then I held on to it because it gave me hope. It gave me another way to ease my broken self cause I needed to. Just when I thought I already hit rock bottom with all these pain I felt ever since I was a kid, God must've still felt the need to push me more by leaving me with a monstrous dad but I saw how God changes him. So I wrote this story for my dad.

Aku takut keramaian. Satu kata yang membuatku nyaman adalah 'menyendiri'. Suatu keadaan telah memberi trauma mendalam kepada hati ini. Penyesalan tak kunjung usai terus mengusik pikiran hingga aku mengurung diri.
