May moments na okay ka, may moments na hindi mo na alam kung tama pa ba yung choices mo, pero somehow you still find yourself standing the next day, breathing, continuing. And maybe life is like a wheel—not just because it repeats, but because it always moves forward even when it feels like you're going in circles.

I believe a person’s life is like a page in a book—each page has its own story, with lines full of joy, verses full of tears, and words that leave deep marks in every heart. Minsan ay maikli at diretso ang teksto, parang mga sandaling dumadaan ng mabilis ngunit nag-iiwan ng matibay na alaala. Minsan naman ay mahaba at masalimuot, parang mga yugto ng buhay na puno ng paglalakbay, pagtuklas, at mga pagsubok na nagpapatibay sa ating karakter. May mga pahina ring tila walang kabuluhan sa una, ngunit kapag nagtagal, doon mo makikita na iyon ang mga bahaging nagbigay-kulay at kabuluhan sa ating kwento.

I started planning about everything, even the smallest things for our day. Motherhood taught me a big lesson in life. Mahirap kung go with the flow ka lang palagi, talagang mawawala ka at some point in your life. Nothing is easy, but everything will be hard if you don't have a plan for your life. It's like floating around in the outer space, alive but not living. “Hindi ko dadalhin lahat ng mga damit ko, 'Nay. Babalik naman po ako rito monthly.”

And now, the people who passed away we knew lived a long life. I’m just glad that they’re now able to rest. Because honestly, living is tough. Living that long can be tiring too. You’ll face countless problems but of course, you’ll face countless happy moments too. That’s life. I watched them stare at nothingness. We reached this long life. We were just kids back then who were struggling to reach their dreams and goals because that’s the only meaning of success we only knew. The truth is, being contented and happy with your life no matter how simple it is can be considered a success too.

“Alam mo parang mas masaya at thrilling nga ang sitwasyon natin ngayon. Yun bang parang hit and run! Walang commitment, walang kumplikasyon, walang samaan ng loob at higit sa lahat hindi ako napapagod!.” “Ayaw ko ng ganun! A life without challenge, a life without hardship, a life without purpose, is pointless! Kung puro sarap, walang challenge ang buhay. Dalawa tayong haharap sa hamon ng buhay at pagtutulungan natin itong bigyan ng solusyon!”” sabi ni James. “Ewan ko James.” sagot ko sa kanya. “I will win you back, George! Even to the point of using our kids!” sagot din ni James.

The longer we looked, the more stars we could see, until it felt like we were surrounded by a million tiny lights. As I looked back on my life, I realized that it had been a journey filled with highs and lows. There had been moments of joy and moments of pain, moments of success and moments of failure. But through it all, I had learned that it was okay to have imperfections. It was okay to make mistakes and to fall down, as long as I got back up and kept moving forward. It brought me to where I am now—happy, content, and surrounded by love.

Ayokong makulong na lang sa katotohanang nakatatak na ang hinaharap ko.” Naglakad ako palapit sa kaniya at hinarap siya sa ‘kin. “What I’m trying to say is, bata pa tayo, Gab. Marami pa tayong dapat enjoy-in sa buhay. We should not let anyone stop us. We should not let anyone tell us what to do.”

Paths were meant to lead you to your destiny. Time was meant to inform you how long did you took to do the things that you wanted. Journey will bring you to your future. No matter how hard you try to ignore and run from the cruel reality, your destined path will be evident to your eyes and the right time will come to introduce you to your new journey. Author's Pov:

Parang hindi pa ata sapat yung kikitain natin sa pagbubuwis natin ng buhay sa pagpunta pa lang doon,” Naiinis man, wala kaming magawa dahil kung gusto naming kumita ng malaki, kailangan muna naming paangatin ang aming mga karanasan. Ito lang din kasi ang misyon na maari naming makuha ng araw na iyon. “Teka nga pala dre, ano nangyare sayo kanina? Ikaw ba talaga ‘yon? Nag-iba itsura mo, ano na naman nangyari sayo?”
