My phone keeps on ringing so I try to pick it up while driving backwards. I thought I can multitask but I suddenly stepped on the gas. My heart hummered in fear and nervous.

The taxi ride felt like an eternity, each passing second amplifying her sense of urgency. Her mind was a battleground of doubt and denial, torn between hoping for the best and fearing the worst. “So… I’m unstable?” “No,” agad siyang umiling. “You’re grieving. And you’ve been doing it without rest.” He continued in a professional, grounded way possible. “Your nervous system is in a state of hypervigilance—constantly alert, constantly bracing for impact.
