Pero sadyang kabaliktaran ang lahat. Mas gugustuhin ko pang maging simpleng tao na may simpleng buhay, ang importante ay makakakain lang ng higit sa tatlong beses sa isang araw. At higit sa lahat may pagmamahal sa bawat isa, that’s more than enough. Kuntento na ako sa ganoon. I don’t need material things. All I need is affection, attention and love. Kaya nga siguro na uso ang motto na “Life is so, unfair.” Kasi totoo naman.

"Simple lang. I'm a walking reminder for you na ang buhay ine-enjoy. Nobody will make it out alive in life, anyway. Might as well party now. Consequences be damned. Hindi ka ba nagsasawa sa pagiging predictable ng buhay natin?" Matalim na tingin ang isinagot nito. Sukong itinaas ko ang mga palad to placate her. "All right. My point lang naman is that masyado mong ikinulong ang buhay mo sa isang six feet two na nilalang. Girl friend, may I remind you na nasa 8,000 miles ang pwede mong galawan."

And I'm right. LIFE is exhausting. Every day, I keep on reminding myself that the world isn't a fairytale. I'm not a damsel in distress. No fairy godmothers to cast a spell on me like what happened to Cinderella. But I will be fine. I know that I will be fine. I'm young and free. I only have one shot in life. I should live it well because there's no turning back once it already happened. Pero pa'no ko 'yon magagawa kung mawawala na ang kalayaan ko?

"I was just asking." Si Deewee ay pilit na ngumiti. "Depende sa tao kung papaano nila titingnan ang buhay, Gene. Para sa akin, hindi naman alak ang nagpapasaya sa buhay ng tao. So... no. My life isn't boring. It is healthy and fun, because I know I'll live a long life."

I’m here now. Sabi nga nila ang buhay natin ay parang gulong. Nakakatakot ngunit minsan ay napakasaya. Minsan ay nasa itaas ka ngunit sa isang iglap lang ay bumagsak ka na lang na parang ulan sa kalangitan or vice versa. Life is full of surprises, that's why we have to cherish every moments of our lives. We should not take it for granted. “Can we live here?” wala sa sariling naitanong ko.

Humarap uli sa akin at sinabing "You know, Talya, someone once told me, The world is circled around, so the course of human life might go round and round until your breath ends.." Marahil ay tama siya "Fermiamo questo dramma inutile; stiamo solo prendendo in giro noi stessi ( Let's stop this pointless drama; we're just fooling ourselves.)" ang sabi ko

Tumanda ako na ang tanging kasama lamang ay ang bahay na ito. Pareho lang ang mga ginagawa ko sa bawat araw na lumilipas. Malapit na akong mamatay at lahat-lahat, nasa ganitong sitwasyon pa rin ako." Malaya akong magmahal, magbigay ng tawad, magbigay ng inspirasyon, at lahat-lahat para mai-offer ko sa buong mundo ang layunin kong dapat na gawin. Despite the hard times in our lives, we seldomly forget to see the good things. I know it's too blurry to see how to survive but isn't always about merely surviving. It's all about living. It's all about how you are existing at the moment, if we only die once? Then live now. I'm not saying that it will be easy, but take your time, after all this isn't a race, it's about championing your own path in the pursuit of your victory.
