Sonic Egg Carrier Novels & Stories

"Seismic activity beneath Times Square. The egg's internal temperature just rose fourteen degrees. And boss, the crystallized time lattice around it is... singing." "Singing?" "The same frequency as the Lullaby. But wrong. Off-key. Like a recording played on damaged equipment." The egg was trying to sing its mother to sleep. A replacement Utterance, not yet born, instinctively attempting to perform the function it was created for. But it could not. It was unfinished. Unhatched. And its broken lullaby was making things worse.

Now she was crouched only a few feet away from it. The egg was much smaller than she imagined it would be, even with her knowledge that the Ciconi Council of Elders had shrunk the egg into the size of a pendant and then encased it in a tube container that was made of a crystal-like substance. Aki had heard enough of the legends to know that what she was gawking at was two layers of indestructible Adamantine; both shell egg and protective case.

"You are right." When the platform finally stilled, everything happened so fast that Sloan had difficulty keeping up with the changes. On the roof of the dome, an odd egg-shaped container was parked. Sloan was shoved into the tiny transport with Keltrix and Octnavin. The egg vehicle was white with only two seats. His mud-covered hands left marks everywhere he touched, and Sloan chose not to sit.

"The baby... is he..." I looked down. A small, silver bundle lay in the mud between me and Serafina. It wasn't a baby. It was a stone. A smooth, violet-silver egg, humming with a soft, rhythmic light. "He shifted," I whispered. "He turned into a seed." I picked up the egg. It was warm. The carrier above us began to tilt. It was falling. "Richard, we have to go." "The pack?" "They're already at the treeline."

Once I was out of my cell, I asked them, "Did you bring a transportation box?" Terry looked at me confused, "What for?" "Terry, look over there." He looked over to the other side of the cave and saw our egg, "Our child..." saying that, he realised that there was no way to take it with us without a transportation box. "Yes, and we need a transportation box if we want to take our child out of here safely." Dan then said, "Let's look around the room and find anything we can use. There are plenty of boxes peppered around the room. One should be big enough for the egg."

Mina’s voice crackled through their comms, distorted by the dense, oxygenated fluid filling their suits. From the "Sparrow" submersible, a modified Sonic Disruption Torpedo launched. It didn't explode. Instead, it unfolded, releasing a burst of Inverted Acoustic Waves (sound waves specifically engineered to reinforce, rather than shatter, Isotope bonds). A shimmering, translucent dome of blue light—the Hard-Light Aegis (a temporary energy barrier)—expanded around Elara and Kazimir, creating a safe, stable bubble of energy within the chaotic, violet-tinted water.

The carrier beneath Lagos was only one node. One piece. One surviving fragment. There were others. Somewhere. Waiting. Sleeping. Watching. Amara suddenly grabbed her stomach. Pain exploded through her body. The baby moved violently. Not with fear. With urgency. Then every light in the station exploded white. A powerful silver pulse erupted outward. The synchronized children inside the tunnels froze instantly. The carrier roared. And for one brief second— Everyone heard the baby's voice again. Clear. Strong. No longer sounding like an infant.

~Time Skip~ I ducked into the egg room as shots were being fired everywhere outside. I glanced around, seeing that a few crates had been sold since I came in here last, but no one was in here right now... good. I smirked and started for the room where she had taken my egg yesterday and went inside, heading for my egg. It was pretty close to being over anyways, so I don't think that they would mind me getting my egg right now while it's still safe here and not taken away. The battle is wrapping up outside and coming to a close. I put my gun over my shoulder on a strap and then walked up to my small box on the lower shelves and pulled it out, purring as my eyes landed on my egg. "Hey there," I

"She’s trying to sync with the birth! She wants the child to be the first breath of her new kingdom!" At the center of the chamber, suspended in a cradle of sapphire light, sat the Siren King Egg - a jagged, obsidian sphere recovered from the ATG ruins. It was pulsing in a violent, erratic rhythm, trying to tether itself to the miracle occurring just a few feet away. Evangeline was not a passive observer of her own labor. Even through the waves of transcendental pain, her "True Sight" was locked onto the obsidian egg. She could feel its hunger - a cold, hollow vacuum that threatened to swallow the light of her unborn daughter.

The area she stepped into was broad with three exit tunnels connected to different locations inside the cave. Luna opened her cute sling bag, an item that the teachers handed out to the students at the beginning of today's activity. The bag's use was so that students could have a place to store their captured eggs inside. Stored inside Luna’s bag were three eggs that ranged from topaz, sapphire, and ruby. "I just need two more," Luna muttered to herself when a flash of light issued from her bracelet, and seconds later, a cute bird-like creature with big eyes was flapping in the air next to her. "Which will be no feat for my Luna! Hmph, that stupid half-brother of yours is nowhere near your a
