“And? Is it?” I thought for a moment, wondering what I was going to say to him, what would be the better thing to say. After all, I did not want to say something that might result in an argument of some sort. If I was Elijah I would have been more than willing to pick fights with everyone around me while this was happening. He had a lot that was on his mind. “It is.”

He screamed in my ear like he saw a monster or something . "Wow Amy you can curse pretty well" he laughed at my reaction. "What do you want now ?" I said annoyed . "Nothing just came to see if you are okay?" He said I can see he was sincere with his words. "I'm fine . Don't worry yourself " I said , assuring him. "Okay so can I ask you something" he said . I knew he would ask . "Uhm look Will I'll appreciate it if you won't ask me anything about that incident ." I said gently.

“What did he say? Did he he say he liked?” I smiled sweetly. “Yeah… I’m not telling you that just yet.”

This is a decision he has made after sitting with it for long enough to know it is the right one. "Do you know what you are going to say yet?" she asks. "Not yet. I know what I am not going to do. I am not going to pretend I have answers I do not have. That has never worked for me before. I do not see why it would start now."

“Just this once. If he asks, say it’s not you.” Logan looked at him, really looked, and for a moment, there was a flicker of something like consideration.

"I told her we want to tell Max ourselves." "No ... I will tell him myself ... it has to come from me," he let out an exhale, "He'll punch me ... but at least he'll hear it from me." I remembered not long ago, when Enzo had promised he would take me to Mount Alderpeak hunting grounds once the busy period was over. He said he would teach me how to use a sniper rifle. He had said he had a little surprise for me. At that time, his ears had gone red when he said it. His voice had carried that rare nervous edge. But now my heartbeat was steady, and a wave of nausea churned in my stomach.
