Chris’s pov

I hurriedly pulled my black pants. “Fuck, fuck, fuck” as checked my phone for the time stumbling to button my shirt. My phone began to ring. I checked the caller id to see Tate. I picked it as I stood in front of the mirror to arrange my wet hair.

“Hey man, Kass told me you're filling in for him” he rang through the speaker.

“Yeah, I need the extra money” I picked up my phone and the keys to my house.

“Are you sure you're not avoiding your date with The Ashleyssssss” he shrieked mimicking them with a mocking tone.

“Fuck off man”

He chuckled as I cut the call and walked out of my apartment.

I had sent a message to my girlfriend telling her I would miss dinner with her friends. I have been doing this of late, trying to avoid her friends. In my defense they were annoying cheerleader type girls that never grew out of the highschool mean girl phase and even though I thought it was hot when I started dating her in college. Now as a senior I found their antiques annoying.

So when Kass asked me if I could pick up his shift, I agreed almost immediately. I felt a little guilty but I couldn't stand another day with Ashley and her clique of Ashleys. So I called her and told her that I had a work emergency, and now I was going to work on my day off. Plus I needed the money so it was a good thing for me.

Work was slow tonight. I haven't gotten much tips yet. ALLEY was a pretty big bar. It was on the higher end side of town and mostly rich fucks frequented here. Today was a rather empty night with very few people at the bar.

I poured out the Espresso martini for the only lady at the bar. From the way she looked, this was probably her last glass. She nursed her glass while I focused on cleaning the counters. I don't think anyone's coming in this late.

I turned to arrange the glasses and return the drinks I had set out. When I was done I turned back to the woman to ask if she was ready to close her tab but she hadn't finished her drink. She wasn't even looking at her drink, her gaze was focused somewhere else.

I followed her gaze to the edge of the bar to see a man sitting there alone staring at me. He was beautiful and handsome at the same time. I felt like a worm under his gaze being examined.

I shifted my gaze when I realized I was staring too much. “Shit” I needed to take his orders. He was sitting at the bar, that meant he probably wanted a drink. I felt like a fool as I walked up to him. As I got close to him. I realized beautiful was an understatement. This man looked like he just jumped out of a sexy Greek god photoshoot.

His face was perfect. He was pale but it somehow worked for him.

“Hey sir what can I get for you”

He looked like an important person and I felt like I was left next to him.

“Hey Christopher, I'll get a glass of whiskey” he drawled in the sexiest accent I couldn't place. Now get this I'm straight as fuck but anyone could see that his voice was sexy.

Wait, how does he know my name? Oh yeah, my name tag stupid.

Sure thing bro…… dude…… sir” I sputtered like a Fucking child.

He smiled at me with his beautiful perfect mouth. “Call me Dante”

I nodded, smiling sheepishly blushing.

What the fuck is wrong with you Chris, get it together!

I poured him a glass and took a deep breath and walked to him. He was staring at me. All this while with this amused smug look on his face.

God I wanted to punch it and kiss it at the same time.

I set the glass in front of him and before I could pull away his hands found mine on the glass as he too it from my hand and raised it to his lips staring at me.

I rushed away from him through the employee door.

“Dude what's up?” Tate asked as I bumped into him.

“Oh nothing, just came in to get a new bottle of vodka” I said walking to where the vodka was kept and picking a bottle.

Tini and Layla walked in giggling. “Omg hottie alert”

“The guy at the bar is such a hottie,” Tini swooned.

“He's like God level hot” Layla added

Tate looked really interested. “Hmm lemme see” he peeped out the door. “Ok wow that's a yummy piece of man there”

He's not that good-looking they're just exaggerating

“Do you think he's gay?” Tate looked out again at the man.

“No fair he's straight” Layla retorted.

I looked back at the guy sitting at the bar. One couldn't tell if he was gay or straight but he exuded a flawless aura of charm and sex appeal that made me not only very jealous but drawn

“He's definitely straight,” Tini said, walking out towards him. The rest of us peep out the door as she walked to him and flirted.

He responded and looked like he was flirting back.

Tini walked away looking back at us smug.

“Ha! He's straight as an arrow” Layla mocked.

That was a pity.

what was I even thinking. Whether or not he was straight or gay wasn't really my business. I needed to mind my business

Tate sighed and I found myself saying “He could be bi you don't know”

Tate beamed and Layla grumbled.

Tate walked out to go test the theory.

We watched as he strutted up to the man and began to lay it thick. The man responded and flirted back.

“Bitch” Layla muttered under her breath and stormed out.

I couldn't help but bite back a smile. something about that who interaction made me happy. I took a deep breath and took a bottle of vodka and walked out.

I walked behind the counter.

“I've been waiting for you Christopher” a voice said as I placed the vodka on the shelf. I jumped in shock but it was Dante

“I need another glass” he gestured to him empty glass and I nodded in shame.

As I poured him a glass I noticed that the woman was still here.

“Sweetheart, want another drink?” I cocked my head at her. She shook her head and I nodded.

She was married and from the way she was looking at Dante, she was weighing if going to him was worth it.

I took the glass of whiskey and placed it in front of Dante. The woman slid beside Dante. She had made her decision. Her ring finger was empty so she probably had hid her ring.

I walked back to continue cleaning and arranging glasses, while staring at them from the side of my eyes.

She was flirting with him and he was flirting back.

It was almost two hours since they started flirting and she was almost basically riding his dick. Layla and Tate had all clocked out. I was to close up with Tini and we were already almost closing.

Dante motioned at me to close the tab.

Finally he can go ride this married woman in peace and leave so I can close early. People have lives.

He handed me his black Amex card. Obviously he's rich too.

I took the card and picked up both their empty glass when they slipped from my hand and fell.

“Fuck” I cursed at the broken glass on the floor. “I'm sorry for that”

I bent to inspect the damage. These glasses were expensive. I just hope the manager doesn't throw a fit. Ben's a dick so he probably will

I hunched and tried to pick up a piece when it sliced my thumb.

“Shit” I retracted my hand and stood up. Dante was on his feet.

He was over the counter in a second and in front of me.

“Are you okay Christopher?” He gave me this really intense look that made me squirm.

“You're bleeding” he motioned to my hand and I turned to it.

“Oh yeah, shit… I'm sorry”

“Chris I heard something break, are you ok” Tini came out through the employee door. “Omg Chris you're bleeding” she gasped as she noticed my bleeding thumb.

“Do you have a first aid box?” Dante asked Tini and she nodded. “It's in there,” she pointed at the employee's door.

“Come on Christopher, let's take care of that” he pulled at me and led me out into the employee's area.

“I should wash this off” I said pointing at the blood that was on my hand and down my arm.

“No need” he said as he walked towards me pinning me against the wall. He looked at my arm and licked it.

He drew his tongue from my elbow up lapping the blood as he went up. He got to my palm and continued to lick. I know I should have told him to stop but I didn't, I stood there staring at him.

My stomach pitted as I watched this very handsome stranger lick his way up my arm.

He took my thumb in his hand and a moan escaped my mouth. He looked up at me with the sexiest, fuck me look and lapped on my thumb.

He had the darkest eyes ever. They looked black, yes I know black isn't a color for eyes and eyes can only be a dark shade of brown but I swear to God his eyes were endless pitch black.

He moved closer to me invading my personal space even more and that seemed to drive me insane.

I was frozen in place, mesmerized, desperate and needy, when I heard a “fuck” beside me. I stiffened and turned to see Tini. She was staring at us in shock.

“The bleeding has stopped now, bandage it up. It should heal nicely” he said, letting go of my arm and nodding at Tini. He walked out of the employees room while I stood there shocked.

“The fuck just happened Chris” Tini asked with a shocked expression.

“I don't know” I walked past her out to the bar. He was gone and so was the married woman.

Did they leave together? Not that I care

He had left a tip. I counted the notes and it summed up to five hundred dollars. He'd also left his business card. I stuffed it in my pocket and went on with closing the bar, trying not to think of him.

He was just a fluke. A reaction my body had from being stressed.
