Commencement Guest Speaker Speech Novels & Stories

Whether accept the invitation or reject it di naman talaga kailangan ng appearance ko. “Master Sean, your Academic institutions want to gladly invite you as their speaker for thier incoming Commencement. They are in different dates.” “I decline. May isang graduation lang akong pupuntahan.”

They gave inspiring speeches for us, graduates. “We have to apologize but our third special guest can’t come because of hectic schedules,” saad ng emcee. “But Mr. Kramer wishes you all the best and a bright future ahead,” I heard disappointment gasps from some of the students. I got confused.

Ayaw kong sabihin na welcome sa samahan ng mga unemployed but I want all of you to welcome in the world of hope, the stairway to success.”

"Before we begin," nakangiting sabi ng host, glancing toward the side of the stage. "I would like to invite our guest speaker for today, who has just arrived from another engagement. Despite her busy schedule, she graciously accepted our invitation to join us. She is a renowned veterinarian in Australia, an entrepreneur, and a passionate advocate for animals, Ms. Charmaine Lazaro."

"It's okay not to be okay." I started with a smile plastered in my face. I was invited as a guest speaker in my Alma Mater and was tasked to give a motivational speech for the nursing graduates. I graduated with the highest Latin honor in both my premed and medical course and topped the Physician Licensure examination.

The emcee's voice echoed through the ballroom, cutting through the chatter like a knife "Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, I am honored to introduce to you a man whose name resounds across the globe, a true visionary in the realm of luxury hospitality and extravagant entertainment. Brace yourselves as we welcome the legendary Mr. Lazarus Lombardi, the enigmatic founder and CEO of Lombardi Hotels and Casino, an empire that stretches its influence even across the vast expanse of the world's oceans, with the exquisite Lombardi Cruise line." Time seemed to stand still as Lazarus emerged from the wings, his presence radiating a dangerous power and allure. Dressed in a tailored black tuxedo,

“Good evening, everyone. Thank you so much to everyone who came tonight to celebrate our company’s anniversary with us. We’ve been through so much to reach the success we have today. This company has been in the industry for a long time, and with every year that passes, we make sure that it continues to grow and become even more successful, not only for us, but also for our investors, business partners, and employees,” he began. Everyone became quiet. Then, when my chest suddenly started to feel tight, I took a deep breath.

“Good evening everyone,” Bahagyang pumalakpak ang audience.

I straightened my posture, took another deep breath, and began my speech, my voice steady despite the whirlwind of emotions swirling inside me. “Magandang araw po sa inyong lahat,” I began, trying to keep my tone calm but filled with sincerity. “I am truly honored to be standing before you today, representing all the scholars here in our school. The road to get here was not easy, but it was made possible because of the support we receive, not only from our families but also from people like Mr. Cojuangco, who believe in the power of education to change lives."
