Void Contract Novels & Stories

I gave the driver the location. Sandali akong napaisip. And a contract. Is it legal?

She was eyeing on Zue’s. “It’s an exclusive contract,” pagpatuloy nito. Dahil do’n naghalo-halo ang naramdaman niya. It was an exclusive contract from Fake Car Company. So, iyong napirmahan niya no’n, entrance contract pa lang iyon. She needed to accept it.

A contract?

She still hired me, and I was so grateful for the opportunity, dahil marami akong natutunan. “Isang taon pa bago mag expires ang kontrata mo, Jas. I was wondering if you're considering resigning, maybe you could just wait for your contract to end. I can see your determination to go work with your dream company. “I will be forever thankful for the opportunity, Ma’am. But my decision is already final. I already took the risk.” Ma'am Clara sighed for a single second but she smiled at me after.

Leon nodded approvingly. “Good. That means we’re making progress.” Then, he pulled out a single sheet of paper and placed it in front of me. My eyes widened. “Ano po ito?” “The contract,” he said smoothly. “Read it.” I scanned the details: One-year contract. Public marriage, private arrangement. No romantic involvement required.

"Try to leave and you will see if I'm serious or not."

"Oh, I know you will. Or maybe... you'll love him eventually." Clara grinned. "We won't do that." Santino just smirked. "There's a contract. Just... business." "Who knows?" Nilingon ni Clara si Damon. "We know. This is just a wedding day. To formalize the contract..." she almost whispered it. "To tell everyone that we are married. We have transaction that needed to seal with this sacred marriage." The idea of falling in love to Damon creeps her out. Nakakatakot mahalin ang lalaking katulad ni Damon. Whoever will try, she should guide her heart well. Guard it. Clara already know that. There's no room for falling in love. Just a promise to keep the contract.

"It's a marraige agreement contract" pagtatama ni Lucas sakanya.

I stared at it before slowly looking back at him. "What is that?" "You wanted a solution." He pushed the folder slightly closer. "This is mine." My fingers felt cold as I reached for it. I opened the cover, expecting some kind of business proposal or agreement I couldn't possibly understand. Instead, the first thing I saw was the title printed across the page. MARRIAGE CONTRACT. I stopped breathing. For several seconds, I could only stare at the words, convinced that I had somehow misunderstood what I was seeing. Then I slowly lifted my eyes toward Lucien.
