His hands cupped my cheeks and pulled me much closer to him, leaving no space, taking in his embrace. My whole body craved more, craved him. I missed him.
Sometimes it's easier to harden our heart, to choose anger. It's easier to block those that hurt us, that have betrayed our love and trust.
Sometimes we think that there is no other way; that healing begins with distance and their absence, to live our life we must purge the toxicity and pain they transmitted, but we do this using their tactics.
