Opening the thick cover, I turn the first page. It’s boring. All of the words are already droning on, and I’m finding it hard to focus on the page. Peering over the edge of the book, I look around again. But still no Piper. No sexy as sin curves that I want to get my hands on. No hot exposed legs, that I can stare at for days. Just a library full of people trying to earn good grades. Back to the book. I think it goes like that for ten minutes—me looking for Piper, getting disappointed, and trying to focus—before I’m interrupted by a feminine voice and not the one I want to hear.
