Once Upon A Time Story Romane & Geschichten

Pero ngayon, sigurado na siya, wala na siyang aasahang paghahabol na mangyayari. Umeksena na si Love e. Honey lang siya matamis, nakakaumay. E si Love? Makapangyarihan. Nanunuot sa pagkatao. Nambubulabog ng sistema. Anong laban niya? Muli siyang suminghot. Iyon na pala 'yon-- ang ending ng magandang fairy tale na pinangarap niya. And unlike all the other fairytales she had dreamed of having, her's will not end in a happy ever after.

"Okay. Once upon a time there was a princess who was very beautiful. Her two princely brothers, even the King and Queen, love her very much. But a mischievous young man fell in love with the beautiful Princess" Napabaling ako kay Well dahil sa kwento nito. Hindi pamilyar? Lahat ata ng collection ng mga fairy tale meron ako at nabasa kuna pero wala pa akong nababasang katulad ng story niya o kahit kapareho man lang. "Wow. Its a nice story daddy! Can you please tell us more?"ani Alle. Tumikhim muna si Well bago ipinagpatuloy ang kwento.

Ani nito na may malaking ngiti. "Echos 'to. So ano na?" "Interesado ka talaga kay kuya ah. Pero dahil generous naman ako, sige." May pa generous generous pa talagang nalalaman no. "Dalawang taon na ang nakalipas simula nung pinatay ang mga magulang namin." I suddenly felt stiffened. Unang sentence palang ng kwento ni Griffin ay parang hindi atang magandang ideya na pinilit ko s'yang magkwento.

Nagkatinginan sina Nathaniel at Cassandra. “Well,” sabi ni Nathaniel, “the monster story is too scary. So… love story na lang.” Namula si Cassandra. “Nat…” bulong niya. Pero nagsimula na ang hari. “Once upon a time, there was a stubborn king… and a beautiful queen who made him realize what love really means.”

Nakita ko namang tinignan niya ako nang may pagkagulat. “Seriously, Nica? Hindi mo alam ang kwento na iyon? Ako nga 3 years old palang ako, alam ko na ang kwento ng mga Disney princesses. Oh well… she was locked up by a beast in a magical castle in exchange of her father’s release. At first, she hated the beast for locking her up but then she falls in love with him, despite of ugliness and monstrous attitude of the beast –the end, that’s all,” pagmamadali niya sa pagkukwento.

"Okay, sige ngayon naman ang story natin ay ang title The white doe." Once upon a time there lived a king and queen who loved each other dearly, and would have been perfectly happy if they had only had a little son or daughter to play with. They never talked about it, and always pretended that there was nothing in the world to wish for; but, sometimes when they looked at other people's children, their faces grew sad, and their courtiers and attendants knew the reason why.

Lalo namang namula ang punong-tainga ni Denver. "Bakit ba ako 'yong ginigisa niyo rito? Nililihis niyo ang usapan eh. Ang pinag-uusapan dito, 'yong Scarlet ni Gemini. Bakit biglang napunta kay Hera. Wala naman siyang ginagawa sa inyo ah." Agad akong sumagot. "Wala pa. But for sure, she has an agenda. Hindi pa nga lang niya naisasakatuparan ang masamang plano niya."

Hindi tuloy ako komportable na magtrabaho. "Mommy, kuwento mo po sa akin ang love story niyo ni Daddy." Nagkatinginan kami ni Ivan. Love story ba na matatawag ang kuwento namin? "Parang iyong si Cinderella at sleeping beauty, mommy. Ganoon!" I sighed. Binuhat ni Ivan ang anak at pinahiga sa kama. "Once upon a time, mayroong isang batang batang princess na napadpad sa isang kingdom. Namatay na kasi ang magulang niya kaya kailangan niyang tumira sa bahay ng friend ng kaniyang mommy at daddy."
