Playing Victim Quotes Novels & Stories

This bastard only gave us trauma. I heard they all moved on what I said. The video plays on the projector. Many were touched when they saw the first video, where their fake love was visible, just like they were showing in front of everyone now. But soon, those smiles were erased and replaced with confusion in the next clip. Where my mom and I were talking, and my dad was behind her. I was begging them to believe me. This wasn't the first time someone touched me and led me to get raped by a bishop when he first visited our church.

"Your Honor, as you have heard, Mr. Sandoval could hit his fiancé when they were fighting over something, so this does mean that he could also do the serious physical injury on the victim. Even the victim's best friend witnessed that hitting scenario before the vlog on the exhibit was taken. The witness is a law student from a known law school so she knows what she was saying, and she also know that she could be charged with perjury if she lied." Bright summarized and looked at us with his mischievous eyes.

“I’m a victim, yet I got this. Hindi ko kasalanan, pero ako ang nagdusa. Magagaya ka sa ‘kin.” he then, look at me with cold, warning eyes. “Magiging biktima ka at magdudusa. They want revenge. At parte ka sa mga magdurusa. Ng paghihigantihan.” I startled at his last statement. Na parang . . . totoo.

What a fake.

"I’d rather be a nobody than be part of this sick transaction!" I screamed back, my voice cracking from the raw anger. "You’re nothing but a burden we’ve carried since your parents died! Pinatira ka namin, pinakain, at binihisan... and this is how you repay us? Wala kang utang na loob!"

I can already imagine her face being all so red. “Wait. Naririnig mo ba yang sinasabi mo? Ikaw ang gumawa ng ikapapahiya mo, Ate. Stop acting like a victim. You made this to your own self. So, blame it all to you dahil nananahimik ako dito. Bye!” I answered cheerfully at agad siyang pinatayan ng tawag.

And for the first time— The word didn’t scare me. Because when they stop calling you a victim— It means they’re afraid of what you can do next. And I was just getting started.

Kumikinang ito. "O-onyx, I'm a diamond. All of us are diamonds. Our lives are worth it like a diamond. We cannot just waste it in a stupid game of greed. Our breath shouldn't fade away like what happening here. Every day I feel so ashamed because of the people we killed just to make them satisfied. We are not just a player inside. We are the fighter. I'm willing to face the consequences of my action. If you want to kill me right now. I'll accept it." I can feel his sincerity. Hearing those words is refreshing. Diamond... No one tells me that word will give me encouragement to save many lives. No one deserves to die just because of power.
