As she turned her back on the door, tears started to fall off. Why can't she hold her tears up? She can't be stressed out. Dahan dahang dumusos ang katawan niya sa pinto hanggang sa maka upo. And so they just stared at each other for some time, as their tears fall for all the things that they used to have, but were now gone. Things they used to cherish, but now were broken. Things they used to hold close to their hearts but caused them so much pain. And just like that, all those heavy emotions she used to feel for him has been lifted in an instant. Maybe that’s what she needs, more than his words— she needed his tears. Tears for the child they’ve both lost… forever. She needed to see his tears of contrition.
