My vision blurred as tears streamed down my cheeks.

As she turned her back on the door, tears started to fall off. Why can't she hold her tears up? She can't be stressed out. Dahan dahang dumusos ang katawan niya sa pinto hanggang sa maka upo. She cried and cried until she can't anymore. Bakit ba nangyari ito sakaniya? Why? Wala naman siyang ginagawang masama. She's a good friend, sister, daughter and a fucking girlfriend. Things they used to hold close to their hearts but caused them so much pain. And just like that, all those heavy emotions she used to feel for him has been lifted in an instant. Maybe that’s what she needs, more than his words— she needed his tears. Tears for the child they’ve both lost… forever. She needed to see his tears of contrition.

“Minsan may pumilit na masira kayo…” Pinunasan ko ang luha sa gilid ng mata ko. Hindi ito para sa heartbreak. Ito’y para sa pagdududa na unti-unting sumisiksik sa puso ko. May nangyaring hindi ko alam. At hindi na ako titigil hangga’t hindi ko nalalaman ang totoo. Pagbaba ko mula sa rooftop, tahimik pa rin ang buong gusali. Madaling araw na. Tahimik… pero hindi mapayapa.

I softly carressed her face to wiped her tears. Kanina pa siguro siya gising at narinig niya ang sinabi ni Avyanna.
