I shifted into my beautiful, big white wolf. Her fur shone brightly just like the moonlight in a cold, dark night. Right now, Hunter is in the darkness. And I want to be the light that guides him out of it. He needs me, and I’m going to bring him back. HUNTER’s POV Darkness. Cold, bottomless darkness. To build your castle around the holy fire its just simply evil and cruel and screams power hungry. But I guess in a way works out. "Keep it steady!" I regained my footing between the bags, aimed, then took another two shots. One hit his upper arm, the other his shoulder, but he kept coming, unfazed by the gushing holes. I shifted my weight onto my other foot and grinned. I might not have stopped him, but the Thornblood dipped bullets had punctured him, binding shade and host to the same satisfying fate. I fired one last time, hitting him strait between his soulless eyes.
