7 Deadly Sins: Pride Novels & Stories

SAVIAH SUER'S POV*

Both choices would save the city, but at what cost to their souls? Chloe saw the conflict in his eyes. She knew him well enough to see the internal struggle. The years of living by his own perfect, unblemished moral code were battling with the ugly, complicated truth of their current reality. She knew that he, the man who was so driven by integrity, could not choose the lie. But she also saw the immense weight of the "truth," a truth that would expose them both to the world as nothing more than victims in a madman's scheme.

My kind of sinner. I walked towards him, my hips swaying to the beat. Sapat ang layo para maabot ko ang kamay niya, but close enough for him to feel the heat radiating from my skin. Sinabit ko ang isang paa sa balikat niya, and I saw his Adam's apple bob. He bit his lips. I knew from the moment I swayed my hips and licked my lips, he was in trouble. He’s a man of God, but right here, in this room, we're all sinners.

They might be stupid and childish sometimes but they are not the sins of underground society for nothing." "They're the sins, they're the evil here; why can't you see that? They're abusing their wealth and power for their own gain," giit ni Balkin.

"Those girls earlier were prostitutes, thieves, and manipulative bitches, the kind of girls that needs to be wiped out from this planet. While you, you're pure and killing sinners doesn't make you one... I will never let you turn into one." "Killing is a sin!" Nagsalubong ang kanyang kilay sa paggiit ko. "There are more unforgivable sins than killing, Phraea! Rape, child molestation, bigamy, child abuse, manslaughter, human trafficking, treason, and other crimes that manipulates one's holy soul. My way of murder is reasonable. I was sent here by God to deplete evilness that is scattering here on earth. In my holy name, I shall bring back the Garden of Eden once more."

"Gluttony 'yan, one of the seven deadly sins. "God knows everything about me. Even that lie." "Confident, ha?" Muli ko siyang hinabol. "Akin na 'yan!" Natatawa siyang lumayo at tinaas 'yon.

Blackstone was very strict when it comes to loyalty. And Apollo couldn’t do something about it despite the fact that he’s the boss. That was one of their organization’s rules.

“Bawat estate po represents one of the seven sins.” “Seven sins?” “Yes po. Lust, Pride, Wrath, Envy, Greed, Gluttony, and Sloth.” “Parang cult naman,” natatawa kong bulong. The maid quickly lowered her gaze. “Hindi po magandang biro iyon rito.” Oops.

I even question Wade about, why do men cheat? And it is because, they choose to be tempted by it. And it will strengthen by the burning desire of their being. Most especially, their wicked heart. Ngayon ay naiintindihan ko na. That both cheating and being a Mistress is a choice and not a fate nor destiny.
