Couple Dance

A/N: For imaginary purposes only. We walked elegantly towards our partner na sadyang parte iyon sa sayaw. As if on cue, umikot ako ng mabilis pahiwalay kay Lux and in a matter of seconds, a pair of hands caught my waist at napatigil ako sa pag-ikot.

Miguel frowned at her. Awkward naman siyang ngumiti. Did he feel that too? Pero mukhang hindi naman. His expression didn't change anyway. "Do we really have to dance?" she asked to hide her awkwardness. "Not really. But I want to take this opportunity to dance with my wife whom I have abandoned for so long," he said as he gently guided her to a slow dance. "It's your birthday, but did you forget, it's also our sixth wedding anniversary today."

“I’ll take this dance with my wife.”

he replied, his voice just as soft, but the conviction in it was undeniable. As the song played on, Janissa closed her eyes and let herself sink deeper into the moment. Their dance was slow, a peaceful rhythm that spoke volumes more than any words ever could. The years had taught them that love wasn’t just about the grand gestures—it was in the quiet moments, the simple touches, and the shared glances. It was in the way he always knew when she needed comfort, the way she could sense when he needed space. And it was in this dance, where their bodies moved as one, where every step, every turn, felt like a reaffirmation of the life they had built together.

The warm feeling of being one is the best feeling ever na hinding-hindi n'ya ipagpalit kahit sa ano pa man. Only Nicollai can make her feel like this and she knows that her husband ay pareho din sa kan'ya ng nararamdaman. They dance in their own music and sway their body to the rhythm that only the two of them knows. Hindi pa ito nakuntento, pinatuwad s'ya nito and pump her from behind.

In the video, Johnford and Agatha can be seen dancing the Butterfly Lovers dance, while Johnford leads Agatha as if they are both flying. “Have you ever seen Agatha dance?” Noah heard those words echo in his ears, he looked darkly at Agatha.

There, on a mini stage, tumutugtog ang paborito kong banda. Anthony extended his hand to Marisse, a twinkle in his eyes, and asked her to dance. Marisse hesitated for a moment, the memories of their past still lingering, but she couldn't deny the genuine effort Anthony had put into this evening. With a smile, she accepted his invitation. They moved gracefully on the dance floor, their bodies swaying in perfect harmony. The world around them seemed to fade away as they lost themselves in the music and each other's arms. It was a moment of pure bliss, a reminder of the love and connection they shared.

AFTER DINNER, nag-start na ang live band. Couples were moving to the dance floor. I was about to excuse myself—check on the dessert service, make sure everything was perfect—when Levi spoke. "Dance with me first." Napatigil ako. "What?" "One dance. You've been working all evening. Take a break. Dance with me." His hand was extended. Waiting. Hopeful? Nervous?
