I turned around to find Travis, already halfway into a dramatic bow, hand extended with a grin that made it impossible not to laugh.
"Travis..."
"Come on," he said, eyes twinkling. "Birthday mo. You already made everyone cry sa speech mo. Give the people a show."
"I didn't even make a speech."
"Exactly. That's how iconic you are. Speechless sila. Let's go, baby."
I rolled my eyes, but placed my hand in his anyway. He pulled me onto the dance floor, not too close, not too far-just enough space to laugh, sway to the beat, and exchange playful quips between steps.
