Orang tuaku mengadopsi seorang anak yatim piatu dan aku sangat menyayanginya, bahkan memperlakukannya layaknya anakku sendiri. Sampai akhirnya aku sadar, wajahnya semakin mirip dengan suamiku, Yobel, bahkan diam-diam memanggil adikku dengan sebutan ‘ibu’. Ternyata, suamiku yang begitu mencintaiku sudah lama berselingkuh. Dia dan adikku diam-diam membangun keluarga bahagia, bahkan mendapat restu dari orang tuaku. Namun, mereka tak menyangka, sebenarnya Yobel yang menolak untuk bercerai. Dia menangis memohon pengampunanku, berkata bahwa dia benar-benar mencintaiku dan anak itu hanyalah sebuah kecelakaan. Aku berpura-pura percaya pada ketulusannya, lalu berkata, “Tujuh hari, aku kasih kamu tujuh hari. Kalau kamu bisa menunjukkan ketulusanmu, aku akan memaafkanmu.” Yobel senang bukan main dan menuruti semua perkataanku, memperlakukanku seperti harta berharga. Demi diriku, dia bahkan menyumbangkan seluruh tabungannya, memaksa adikku berlutut di salju untuk meminta maaf padaku. Semua orang mengira aku akan memaafkannya, hingga hari di mana polisi datang untuk menyuruh mereka mengidentifikasi jenazah. Saat itulah, Yobel benar-benar gila. Yobel tidak tahu, sebenarnya aku sudah mati sejak tujuh hari lalu. Hanya saja, malaikat kematian memberiku izin kembali ke dunia selama tujuh hari, untuk berpamitan dengan Yobel.
