Ramdam ko na rin ang nagbabadyang pagtulo ng luha mula roon. Kaya bago pa man may mangyaring hindi dapat at ayaw ko ay tumingala na ako tsaka pasimpleng diniinan ang magkabilaang sulok ng mga mata ko. This is my way of coping and fighting my tears back.

"H-Hindi ko sinasadya! Kasalanan ni Lumi dahil halata namang tinisod niya ako!" I shook my head miserably. Hindi iyon totoo. Hindi ko sinasadya. The prof kept on giving me instructions. After closing my eyes for a few seconds, he requested me to blink my eyes repeatedly so my tears could naturally wash off the glitters. Naglibot siya ng paningin sa buong paligid at mariing hinilot ang kanyang sintido. “Let’s go?”

"Bakit ang hirap-hirap maging masaya?" A lone tear traced down his cheek, and just like that, the floodgates opened. He wept, tears streaming from his deep brown eyes, loud, heaving sobs tearing from his throat, and still he did not look away. Not until the sobs drove him to his knees did his determined gaze fall. "Nandito na ako... Hindi kita iiwan." I gave a small, hopefully encouraging smile though tears are still on the side of my eyes. I reached out his hand and hold it. I inhale sharply, trying to focus.

I began, clearing my throat, “kumusta ka na, Poppy?” She tilted her head slightly, her eyes never leaving mine. “I've been... fine,” she replied, her tone neutral. Pero bigla akong may napansin sa mga mata niya. Bahagya ‘yon namula at nagtubig habang pinagmamasdan ako. “Poppy?” I asked softly, concern etching into my voice. She blinked rapidly, and to my shock, tears started to form in her eyes. “Um, it's just my contact lens,” she said quickly, her voice shaky. “It must have gotten irritated or something.”

He might be lethal. “What do you want?” tanong ko sa kaniya. “I have a whole day of meetings ahead so it’s best if we can get this out of the way.” “I am very aware of your schedule,” sabi niya sa’kin at may nilabas mula sa kaniyang bulsa. “Eyedrops?” tanong ko sa kaniya. “Not just any eyedrops. It’s the new thing we’ve developed. You drop this on your eyes and you’ll see a whole new world.”

Wala na rin akong pakialam kung maipit ba siya o kaya naman ay mahampas, mas gusto ko nga 'yon. "Don't get stress, makakasama kay baby," pabulong kong sabi habang dahan-dahang dumadausdos sa pinto. Hindi ko mapagilang maiyak, sumasakit ang lalamunan at dibdib ko. "Tangina, don't cry Lyka! Makakasama kay baby," garalgal ko pang sabi sa sarili. But I can't control my fucking tears to come out of my eyes!

Natawa pa siya saka muli akong niyakap bago siya kumaway at lumabas. Nang makalabas siya ay pumunta ako sa pinto ng rest room at kaagad ko iyong ni-lock. And I didn't expect a tears coming out from my eyes. I immediately wipe them using my fingers but they won't stop until my throat goes dry. I pinched my own hand to wake myself up. Nang tiningnan ko ang sarili ko sa salamin ay nakita ko ang pamamaga ng mga mata ko. Why am I crying?
