Escape From Wedding

“You’re the only one who cut them in your life, but in blood and name you’re still one of them.” “The only reason why they wanted me to marry someone like you is to redeem myself as a bastard.” “I don’t care! I have loved you ever since.” “Then you may leave Atlas.” pagkasabi non ay tinalikuran niya si Ella.

“I’m sorry Mr. Travis Escano for ruining your wedding. Just blame your bride. Gusto ko lang ibalik ang ginawa niya sa akin two years ago.’’ I murmured to myself at wala ng makakapagpabago ng isip ko. Hanggang sa muling nagsalita ang host. “Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to guide you through this very special celebration of love between Kelsey Emanuela Villa Madrid and Travis Escano. We are gathered here not only to witness their vows but also to celebrate their journey together with the people who mean the most to them. Today, we have a special segment where family, relatives, and friends will share their heartfelt messages and well-wishes for the bride and groom.”

"Useless things should be thrown away."

pabulyaw niya'ng sagot sa kabilang linya. Tyla pout in the other line. "Sweetheart, I just want to ask something. Why are you so irritated ngayon huh?" malambing ang boses nitong tanong sa kanya at tanging malalim na buntong hininga ang tinugon ng binata. "What?

“I'm really sorry Cass. I-I shouldn't have hurt you.” “Well you already did. But thank you, you saved me from you, Jake. Pero putang-ina, why the hell did you do that?!” I screamed na ikinagulat ni Ellie. She sat on the sofa while holding her head, her eyes were half-open. “Why did you leave right before the wedding? How shitty is that?

Agad naman nag sign of the cross ang pari. “Tangina!” Hinawakan niya ang microphone. “Everyone, Our Wedding is nothing but a total trash! The Wedding is Off! You may now go home.”

With that my heart pounded even more. Then, he claimed my lips, with that I closed my eyes. It’s official. The wedding is over, and I couldn’t run away anymore. I just knew that the tears that I’ve been holding back, started to escape. Everyone seems happy and that excludes me.

Nakita kong napanganga silang lahat. “You runaway on your wedding day?” It seems that I am safe to admit that I am fully moved on from that. “Yes, and I happen to bumped with Geoffre was fleeing from his bestfriend’s wedding.” Nakita ko na napatango si Geoffre.

PROLOGUE When they started to scream, all I want to do is to keep running until I can't hear the noises again. When life gets hard, I definitely choose to runaway than being stuck in that chaos. I want my freedom alone. I want myself alone. I prefer being alone than to hear this disgusting scream, saying that I shouldn't be selfish and try to get along with others, especially to the man that they wanted to be my husband for the damn reasons. "Diba sinabi ko sa 'yo na makipag-kita ka roon? Bakit hindi mo sinipot?!"
