Under The Oak Tree Novel Novels & Stories

Kahit isang hakbang lang. Lumapit siya, naupo sa tabi ni Lance. Hawak niya ang makapal na libro na ang pamagat ay “The Family Tree”. Si Amara ay pumwesto sa pagitan nila. Habang binabasa niya ang unang pahina, “Once upon a time, there was a tree that grew in love…”, parang may nabubuhay ulit sa puso niya. Bawat kwento ng puno, bawat dahon, bawat sangang lumalago—parang kwento nila. Wasak, pero pilit binubuo. Wasak, pero may ugat pa.

But before he could fully emerge— Distant voices echoed from inside the tunnel. “They went this way!” Evan cursed and slammed the metal cover shut, dragging a fallen branch over it to disguise it. Then he grabbed my hand again. “We have to run deeper into the forest. Now.” We sprinted into the trees, branches slapping against my face and arms. The moonlight barely filtered through the thick canopy above, making everything feel surreal, distorted, like a nightmare I couldn’t wake from. My lungs burned. My legs shook. But we couldn’t stop.

The environments here are pure green, dark green grass, big oak trees, and the wild woods for background.

Kaya lang, baka makahalata sila na inuuto ko lang sila. "Kabayo lang 'yan, Fabro," simulang pang-aalaska ni Oliver ilang hakbang ang layo sa amin. They were still standing outside the Wrangler we rode to get here. "Sa baril nga hindi ka natatakot." I smirked. "You should help him then." Dax laughed and whispered something to the man beside him, na mukhang nagulat dahil nadamay siyang bigla.

I overthink too much. I rushed into the dining area barefoot still wearing my pj’s and I saw him patiently waiting for me, not touching his food. Finally he noticed me and stocked his eye to my foot approaching his side.

Wala kang karapatang masaktan. Slowly, I stood up, brushing the dirt from my knees and shaking out my skirt. My legs felt heavy, as if they were filled with lead. I turned back toward the house, but instead of going inside, I walked over to the old stone bench beneath the mango tree and sat down. The branches above me cast dappled shade, and the breeze carried the scent of ripening fruit and damp earth. It was a beautiful morning—peaceful, perfect—yet I felt as if I were suffocating.

Genevieve asked curiously and Rowan shake his head, "You will never be the reason why my day is ruined, Tandaan mo 'yan," As they sat under the shade of a towering oak tree, the park around them seemed to slow down, offering them a sanctuary away from the chaos of their daily lives. The blue rays of the moon filtered through the leaves, casting a warm glow over the tranquil scene. The distant hum of the city faded into the background, replaced by the soothing symphony of nature. Genevieve broke the silence, her voice soft yet filled with warmth. "How's your day been? I heard your schedule is packed with promotions for the next few weeks."

And in all things he ruled them, and they became hard of heart even as he was. Now there passed one day through the village a poor beggar-woman. Her garments were torn and ragged, and her feet were bleeding from the rough road on which she had travelled, and she was in very evil plight. And being weary she sat her down under a chestnut-tree to rest. But when the Star-Child saw her, he said to his companions, 'See! There sitteth a foul beggar-woman under that fair and green-leaved tree. Come, let us drive her hence, for she is ugly and ill-favoured.'
