ไกร หรือ นายหัวไกร อายุ 35 ปี ปัจจุบันเป็นเจ้าของสวนยางเจ้าของสวนทุเรียนในทางภาคใต้ เรียกว่าเป็นคนร่ำรวยคนนึงเลยก็ว่าได้ มีลูกน้องมากมายรู้จักคนมากมาย แต่กลับไม่ยอมหาเมียให้ตัวเองจนกระทั่งเวลาล่วงเลยมาจนอายุ 35 ปี พ่อแม่เลยจัดการจับคลุมถุงชนกับผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งที่เขาไม่แม้แต่จะรู้จักเพียงเพราะอยากให้ลูกชายมีเมียกับเขาสักที เขมิกา หรือ เขม อายุ 24 ปี ดีกรีนักเรียนนอก พ่อแม่ส่งไปเรียนต่างประเทศตั้งแต่มัธยม แต่แล้วก็ถูกเรียกตัวกลับมาเพราะมีเรื่องด่วนสำคัญ แต่พอเธอกลับมากลับถูกพ่อแม่พาไปแต่งงานกับผู้ชายคนนึงที่เธอเองก็ไม่เคยรู้จัก แถมผู้ชายคนนั้นก็หน้าตาโหดๆ ด้วย
