One of them, a little girl, her tiny face scrunched in frustration whenever she couldn’t find the boy she was looking for.
Then two names surfaced in my mind.
Names I hadn’t thought of in years.
Ra-Ra and Nox.
I jolted awake when my alarm rang. I groaned, fumbled for the clock, and turned it off. I sat up slowly, rubbing my temples.
What was with that dream?
The little girl. The boy beside her. Their laughter echoed too clearly, like memories refusing to fade.
Yes, they were part of my past.
But why now?
Why that dream?
