The Afterburn of Tempation
We spent the afternoon eating local seafood by the shore, taking aesthetic group photos, and just living in the moment.
Around midnight, when the bass of the music got a bit too loud, I sneaked away toward a quieter, dimly lit part of the shore just to feel the cold sand beneath my feet.
"Hey,why are you here?" a voice called out.
I turned to see Brion walking toward me, holding two bottles of cold beer. He handed one to me.
"Salamat," I said, taking a sip.
"Medyo maingay na kasi roon sa loob. I just wanted some quiet time."
