Julio interrupted, voice cold. “You believed because you wanted to. You wanted to be the queen. But you’re just the pawn.”
Pia slapped the table, her voice rising. “I gave you everything! My time, my body, my loyalty! And you throw me away like trash?”
Julio leaned back, arms crossed. “You were never mine to keep.”
Pia stood, trembling, but defiant. “You’ll regret this. You think you can control me? You think you can silence me? I know things, Julio. I know enough to destroy you.”
